Pay good but not always rewarding
Over ok place to work. Heavy focus on customer service and sales. Pay good but could be better. Time off always guaranteed great co workers in store less great connections for senior leadership

Some Good and some bad!
You start at the bottom and it doesn't matter how great a worker you are or the experience you bring as it is all about seniority. There are a dew people who shouldn't be working there that have worked for a long time, they know how to "milk it".There are some really great people to work with though, and they made it fun. But because it is a union shop, the lazy people get away with being lazy...

Fun and fast paced work environment
I loved working at the BCL in Squamish, the management team is amazing and very supportive as well as all the other employees there. It's fast paced and stressful at times, but that's typical for the service industry. Benefits and life insurance are great too.

Negative Work Environment and underpaid
Long time employees earn barely more than new-hires. Management is petty and uses punishment or praise when meeting targets. No incentive to work harder besides cutting total store hours. Hard work on joints and mind. Customers are beligerent and we cannot decline them unless truly violent. Management is hired not for skill. Most Managers cant even run an excel file properly or attachments to an...
