Pure management, right hand does not know what left hand is doing. Poor job allocation - some people overworked some not. Often micromanagement - you need to notify when you are working from home and when have an appointment, As this can be understandable, sometimes very uncomfortable feeling.
If you are a contractor, pure benefits
I was encouraged to pursue learning more about the techniques used in the lab. I was also given an opportunity to act in a small administrative role to manage lab supplies which led to developing my communication skills as well.
