It is often a busy yet full of fun environment to work in. One thing I like the most is interacting with patients: sharing stories, knowing how they are, thinking that they have to be in the lab as early as 630 in the morning just to get the tests done. Being friendly to them is very important to gain their trust.
In addition to patients that you need to be interacting with, are your co-workers. Communication is very important, nothing to be afraid of because they're friendly and always willing to help you.
The hardest part of the job is dealing with patients who don't know how to speak English, its a big advantage having co-workers who can speak different languages and pictures to show on how to do the procedures.
The most enjoyable part of the job, is knowing that you help the patient in a simple way to somehow ease the pain they are dealing at the moment and helping your co-workers finished the duty for the day
