Very busy learning experience!
Housekeeping Supervisor (Current Employee) - Red Deer, AB - 12 July 2016
A typical day at work included making the girls their sheets for the day. Check rooms to make sure they were clean. Answering emails and phone calls. Placing orders for stock. Dealing with complaints. I've learned to be very patient in training new staff.

Unreasonable demands on my time
Front Desk Agent (Former Employee) - Hinton, AB - 16 January 2023
Was texted by a new manager who did not even bother to introduce themselves, and was asked to come in with less than an hour's notice for a seventh day in a row. Many other incidents of nepotism and behind the back manipulation, fabricating complaints etc. Very disappointed in the new on site manager
Pros
Free bananas that had gone brown
Cons
Poor management

Great management and great staff
Banquet Staff (Former Employee) - Red Deer, AB - 9 April 2021
Was overall a great experience working at the baymont. The owners seemed demanding whenever they showed up but as a banquet staff they weren’t around much. Management is awesome, the GM always brought positive energy and great leadership. Staff in all departments were unique and always kind. If ever offered I would definitely come back to work at the baymont.
Pros
Free food after events
Cons
Low pay
