Great work group
Research Technician (Current Employee) - Saskatoon, SK - 4 December 2022
People in the group are awesome. They created a supportive environment and leaves room for beginners to make mistakes without feeling guilty. Have a wide range of tasks from day to day that makes the job interesting. Will give 5 stars if the company have more clear career path for research technicians, so they have more room to grow into more leadership roles.
Pros
Supportive group, good pay & benefits, relaxed work culture
Cons
Not a lot of room to grow

Communication can lack at times but overall a really good place to work. You get to learn lots about the canola industry and operate equipment. Lots of travel time and you get to see different parts of the Provence

Agronomy (Former Employee) - Canada - 1 November 2022
Fast paced, not alot of opportunity to train depends who you work for and your background. Fun atmosphere for the most part. No room for growth unless you have a degree

Good treatment from managers and colleagues
Production Supervisor (Current Employee) - Lethbridge - 28 October 2022
I have only positive feedbacks to give of this organization. Encourages work-life balance. Lots of training and close follow up by manager to know how everyone is progressing.

Good hours
Operator (Former Employee) - Lethbridge, AB - 25 October 2022
Very fun, management was hectic at times. Great group of people to work with. Sometimes very long hours of work depending on the season time. Management was not the best but not the worst. Only main complaints were sketchiness of the heights and not being tied off when having to work so high.

Summer student
Summer Research Student (Former Employee) - Saskatoon, SK - 15 March 2022
Work was demanding but good, office culture was iffy at times. They expected long hours and hard work from students but offered a company vehicle and most lunches were paid for

Heavily micromanaged, no trust in employee to do their job
AgSolutions Grower Representative (Former Employee) - Western Canada - 2 March 2022
More time is spent meeting micro mangers demands instead of getting the job done they were hired to do. No room for autonomy or to to reach solutions for growth. High turnover due to stress and burnout from management. Immediate management and their boss do not walk the walk or talk the talk as those above them do. Training provided is excellent. Interaction goals are not adjusted to take into consideration the days & time the training takes away from hitting the daily / weekly call target numbers. Strong focus on quantity of interactions week not quality or client size to build relationships.
Pros
Good benefits & salary Training provided excellent
Cons
Long hours outside of peak season No trust or faith in your ability to do job, nothing is ever right Extreme micromanagement

Two faced employment. Sounds great but it's all at your expense.
Shift Supervisor (Former Employee) - Lethbridge, AB - 7 February 2022
Long stressful days, everybody else is out to get you in trouble. Management changes the rules daily, most upper and lower management have no idea on how to run the line. Some of the crew is good but usually you can turn your brain off to get the job done. Hardest part of job - Dealing with the daily bull$@*t. Best part of job - Going home at the end of the day.
Pros
Hard to find any.
Cons
Different rules for different departments and management.

Dull toxic environment
Forklift Operator (Former Employee) - Regina, SK - 7 September 2021
Show up ready to work. Over hire, 10 people pretending to be busy, not enough work to keep two busy. Detached self-absorbed manager. Gossipy backstabbers
Pros
Getting laid off to leave for something better.
Cons
Harassment and nepotism are tolerated.

Overall would give about a 75% satisfaction rate.
GENERAL LABOURER (Former Employee) - Saskatoon - 20 June 2021
The pay wasn't bad, but more would have been better because of the level of quality that was expected was high. The more automated area needed more was misleading as things had a tendency to go wrong. The last 2 days were hard on the system because you finished one shift and started the last shift on the same day.
Pros
Little outside interference outside of the shift you worked on.
Cons
Ending the third shift and starting the last shift on the same day was hard.

Pros
Career deveopment

Beauracracy and keep bad employees for to long before letting them go

Great company and great people. The pack lines were fun to work on and the work is not too hard and they treat you well. However lady in receiving department is a next level head case so avoid working in that department at all costs.
Pros
Good benefits, good pay and not too taxing

Awesome company
pack 5 line operator (Current Employee) - Regina, SK - 8 May 2020
Don’t much for overtime, 8hour days you get your breaks 2 15 min breaks and a 30 min, it’s shift work depending on the line you are on you could only have day shifts (6:00am-2:15)or an evening shift (2:15-10:45) have benefits the while 9 yards, it’s seasonal work ( winter) but there is opportunity to become full time, it can be a super easy job that does have it’s moments, but for the most part it a good job

Decent place to work
Logistics (Former Employee) - Regina, SK - 24 April 2020
Overall, a decent place to work. Good for a semi-retired person. Extremely hard to come upon full-time employment there. Management stifles people trying to move up within the company.

Productive fun position with many areas to learn
Research Assistant (Former Employee) - Belmont, ON - 8 April 2020
As a summer intern there are many different jobs that are required, which changes every day based on what needs to be done. I learned many things such as weed identification, basic spraying techniques, setting up field trials with biologists.
The work culture was very welcoming, friendly and encouraging. There is a strong aspect of safety and teamwork in everyday jobs.
The most difficult part of the job is being organised in all the different trials that are occurring in the same time. However, this is double checked by the team and is a collective responsibility. The most enjoyable part of the job is being outdoors and working in a group.
