At Bantrel the management would give you very challenging job tasks on a daily work day. The people were very enjoyable and fun to work with. Very good benefits at the time

Good place to work. Very busy which meant long days and working weekends. Great procedures and standards available for independent work. Nice culture with activities, games and cultural celebrations.

Surmont 2 - Anzac Site Senior Document Control (Former Employee) - Anzac, AB
Bantrel provided us an excellent salary, benefits, equal pay for equal work and excellent people to work with. I really enjoyed working in this project from the start to finish and am so proud to be a part of the this Surmont 2 Conoco Phillips project. Working with Bantrel really enhanced my skills and knowledge and am still looking forward to work with them again.
Pros
Lots of benefits including bonus, uplift, overtime and many more.
Cons
Everything is paid with good benefits.

Some great folks work(ed) here. The pay is excellent and high standards of professional practice were maintained through a well-developed and implemented quality assurance/control program. However, a few suggestions in the interest of continuous improvement:- The need to diversify the business beyond the existing oil and gas client base is clear, and yet executive have failed to expand the EPC offerings into less volatile sectors and the growing clean tech space. This is a root cause of current hardships, even more so than the pandemic.- The business model is to make layoffs first, and ask questions later. This demonstrates a lack of ability by management to effectively leverage human capital assets towards productive work and business development. - Employee health and stress ought to be better overseen; some folks work far too many hours to be healthy.
Pros
Salary, Engineering Work
Cons
Significant Strategic Missteps
