Patrolled in mobile unit within assigned area. Trained and uniformed by the company. Trained in First Aid, Criminal Code and Self Defense.Management was quite approachable and assisted with my needs.Mutual assistance by other officers was always provided.

Avante security is a professional, private security company that I have been with for coming up on 6 years. Like with many companies, there's good days and bad days. What makes Avante stand out from any security company in Toronto though, is the fact that they take pride in caring for their employees. Our management is super easy to reach out to with any problem, and value our opinions. Anything I have to pay for is reimbursed by them (even my security license!) The worst part of this job can be the static shifts of sitting and waiting for something to happen, which usually doesn't. They offer use of force training, and first aid as well. I have a great team behind me, that work in unison which makes for easier shifts. Doing close protection transports also makes you see the other side of security. Avante has continually been an eye opening experience for me.

Pros

Great benefits, team outings, a responsive and supportive management, Get to drive nice cars for work.

Exciting and productive workplace

Avante for me has been the place where I can apply all the knowledge that I was given in my police foundations diploma. It's a very exciting and interesting all the things I have done in this company. There's always something different to work on and there's no monotony.I get to drive very nice cars, something that I never expected to do.In short I love this company because the people makes the company awesome.
