Avante security is a professional, private security company that I have been with for coming up on 6 years. Like with many companies, there's good days and bad days. What makes Avante stand out from any security company in Toronto though, is the fact that they take pride in caring for their employees. Our management is super easy to reach out to with any problem, and value our opinions. Anything I have to pay for is reimbursed by them (even my security license!) The worst part of this job can be the static shifts of sitting and waiting for something to happen, which usually doesn't. They offer use of force training, and first aid as well. I have a great team behind me, that work in unison which makes for easier shifts. Doing close protection transports also makes you see the other side of security. Avante has continually been an eye opening experience for me.

I had the privilege of working at Avante Security, and I must say it's not your typical security company. At Avante, you're not just another body; you're treated as a valued employee. The company offers excellent medical benefits that outshine the competition.One of the perks of the job is getting to drive nice cars, which certainly adds excitement to the role. The 12-hour shifts involve a lot of physical activity, making it almost like getting paid for cardio exercises - perfect for those who want to stay fit.The employees and higher-ups are highly respectful, but it's equally important to respect them in return. Avante offers a fantastic starting pay compared to other security companies, and overtime shifts are often available, allowing you to earn time and a half.What's more, you get a generous number of paid sick days and vacation days, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. Overall, my experience with Avante Security was enjoyable. It's a well-renowned and recognized company in Toronto, known among fire departments and the Toronto Police Service, which adds to its credibility and reputation. Not bad

Avante gave me a good site to work at. They gave me a day shift with good hours and consistent hours. I was given adequate time off every 2 or 3 days of work I would have at least 2 days off. I thank you for keeping me employed.

Worst company

I regret my decision to switch to intelligarde from securitas while working with aga khan museum. Supervisors at akm think that nobody can touch them as the security manger frank pettersen is behind their back protecting them. Good lick to frank to support such bad supervisors at the cost of good guards. But how long

Hey if you’ve got no life and can work while kissing butt, THIS JOB IS FOR YOU! -good pay and benefits -good company car to drive -long hours -gives out write up like the 4th of July -understaffed, so they can call you to pick up extra shifts

Productive, challenging

There were many different jobs to do with this company so you were always active. Driving a nice car and being in luxury environments was very enjoyable. However the hours were very long and tiresome. Great company but could have more incentives in pay.
