Great place to gain experience!
Receptionist (Former Employee) - Kitchener, ON - 8 August 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedI was very pleased with my experience working at Kitchener Hyundai Sales Department. As a part-time employee, I was able to do a lot of tasks and got training from other staff. The entire team was welcoming and fun to work with.

Terrible dealer group to work for. Management shows extreme favouritism and neglect for those who aren’t in the “click”.
Office Administrator (Former Employee) - Barrie, ON - 25 August 2023
Culture is very lacking. Expected to work excess hours without pay or time off. Zero regard for work/family balance. Rate of pay is not standard for the positions.

Sales Associate (Current Employee) - Kitchener, ON - 18 July 2023
I had the unfortunate opportunity to work for a company that I can only describe as a nightmare. From day one, it was clear that this employer had no regard for their employees' well-being or happiness. The management team was completely incompetent and had no clue how to lead or motivate their staff. They constantly made unrealistic demands and expected us to work long hours without any compensation or appreciation. There was no work-life balance whatsoever, and personal time was seen as a luxury that employees simply couldn't afford. Communication within the company was abysmal. Important information was often withheld, leaving us to scramble and figure things out on our own. The lack of transparency created a toxic and distrustful atmosphere, where rumors and gossip ran rampant. The work environment was incredibly toxic and hostile. Colleagues were pitted against each other, and there was a constant fear of being thrown under the bus to save face. Constructive feedback was nonexistent, and any attempts to improve or voice concerns were met with dismissiveness and condescension. To make matters worse, the pay was insultingly low for the amount of work and stress we had to endure. There were no opportunities for growth or advancement, as the company had no interest in investing in their employees' professional development. Overall, working for this employer was a truly dreadful experience. It was a toxic, disorganized, and exploitative environment that took a toll on both my mental and physical well-being. I strongly advise anyone considering working for this company to -

Fun and productive workplace
Automotive Concierge (Former Employee) - Innisfil, ON - 7 July 2023
AutoIQ was a great place to work. Culture was fantastic. Staff was fantastic. Loved my management team. Unfortunately the organization above them made a lot of promises about change to salary etc that just kept getting pushed back and then pushed back again. Made it tough seeing as you were working for minimum wage + minimal commission. Some months were better than also as is expected in sales. Really felt like a family and like you were part of the team. Literally only bad thing was pay.
Pros
Family culture, management, staff
Cons
Pay

Supportive Leadership and Great Company Culture
Controller (Current Employee) - Barrie, ON - 28 March 2023
I have never worked for a company where I felt more supported by the leadership team. They are truly invested in your personal career and goals and will work with you to help you achieve them. The culture here is a breath of fresh air compared to my prior employer, which was a very toxic environment. It feels nice not waking up worried about what I'm going to be walking into every morning. I have learnt a lot in my current position and I hope to continue to grow in my career with AutoIQ.

Safe, welcoming, friendly work environment.
Service Appointment Coordinator (Current Employee) - Barrie, ON - 13 March 2023
Working at the Barrie Chrysler BDDM has been great so far. Nobody second guesses to offer a hand where ever its needed. The people and management are positive, friendly and all around fun to be around. Management always goes above and beyond for their employees and make sure that everyone has everything that they need to be successful within the business. The hardest part of the job has to be the not so friendly customers. The easiest part is helping out the people that you can, not only are you doing your job you're helping someone out. In the time that I've worked here I've expanded my knowledge in the automotive industry as well as improved experience in customer service.
Pros
free coffee, friendly environment
Cons
it can get slow(calls not coming in)

Although I have only worked for the AutoIQ group for a short time, I have found that it is a group that knows the value of those that work for them. Between benefits, pay and the extra things they do...they know how to make people WANT to stay.
