Interesting place to work
The one good review I can give for this company is that I made some great friends and worked with some great people. The environment used to be a great place and most people would enjoy coming to work everyday. Now most people dread it. Management has no idea what the rest of their staff does on a day to day basis. If you are not a sales manager or upper management it’s safe to say you mean very little to anyone. Office area can be very toxic and gossipy. A lot of the time people are brainwashed by upper management and it’s very sad. They also try to make up for bad things happening by “treating” the rest of the staff to free lunches. This company will go down in flames if they keep managing this place like they do.

DO NOT work here!!
Do not work here if you are looking to advance your career in any way!(unless of course you are prepared to pucker up to management, as you will never get anywhere on merit alone!). If you like high school drama and gossip then this might be your dream job!? Very cliquey, and if you weren't part of the clique then you were s*it out of luck.

Their people mean nothing to them
Probably the most stress filled place to work. Toxic environment Managers have no idea what their staff do at all. It’s an absolute mess People are paid on who you know, not how long you have been there or how well you do your job Used Covid as an excuse to get rid of people the managers didn’t like

Managers and Supervisors are untrained.
My overall experience with this Company can be simply defined as stressful. Most to all Supervisors and Managers work with no training on how to be a leader, you are always worrying if you will have a job to come back to because people are always getting let go out of the blue. Employees are miss treated and have their jobs threatened at least once a week. This company also used COVID-19 as an excuse to weed out employees they were no longer fond of and cut some people benefits out completely. This was the most stressful place I have ever worked in all honesty.

no direction
3 CEO's in 6 years.
Leadership is upper-management focused and not operations itself.
If you and others enjoy your day at work, management sees it as slacking off even if work is done correctly and on time.
Lean is a big thing in the company, mostly in the bottom line and reduction of staff.
The turnover rate is high.
Training is half a day and then onto the job.
If someone has a desk or an office good luck getting them out of there to help or give advice.
The hardest part of the job is the drama. Very gossipy.
There is plenty of miscommunication between sales and production then never get fixed and the same issues happen year after year even if they hire new people, they are allowed to make the same mistakes.
Opportunity for advancement is slim, kissing up helps. Yes sir, yes ma'am are preferred.
Cross-training between departments is expected in production in case one department is backed up instead of hiring enough staff or having the right equipment in place.
Be prepared for the bus, as you can at any time be thrown under the bus by coworkers or management. Always looking for a scapegoat instead of a way to improve or fix the situation.
The work between branches as they are in different provinces as well is not the same. What one branch does is not the same as the other. Be it from sales to purchasing to procurement to shipping.
Paperwork is a mess, the paper trail is worse.
Safety is a major push at the company, even though daily there are many small things done that wouldn't be considered safe but are done anyways because its the way it has been done for a long time.
Very cliquey even though everyone is supposed to be as one there are many groups in the building, not to mention branches hating on each other.
The benefits are poor. Medical, eye, dentist, and some special things are lower than most. But they did get the cost of the benefits package down. So that helps the Bottom line.
No bonuses for operations, big bonuses for sales, and management.
Constantly restructuring the company internally be it for financial reasons or to move people around to let people go.
Harassment and bullying have happened, from upper management down to laborers.
