Atria is a fantastic organization, everyone is a seasoned industry pro and know exactly what needs to get done. Senior management is great at communicating the vision and provides all the resources required to make it happen, then get out of the way. There is no micro management, everyone is empowered to make decisions and projects get done in record time.
Everyone from the CEO down is approachable and open to alternative views. Everyone will make time available to help when asked and will kindly offer up assistance if they see you struggling.
I enjoyed this company greatly and wish there was more organizations, such as Atria, around.

Great place for a first job as shifts are only 3 hours, however management is lacking as well as the chefs can be quite cruel and difficult to work with. The residents are amazing and really made this job experience a memorable one for me.

It could be a great place to work if regional mangers knew their communities residents needs. This one size fits all American approach to running does not match the needs of the demographics they attract. Local management has to spend too much time meeting corporate timelines,dictated procedures and processes that do not or should not be applied to Canadian tastes and culture. This is not Kentucky or any other US State.
Great looking building, some good workers who care about residents.
