Assistant Manager of Sales (Former Employee) – Stoney Creek, ON – 12 September 2017
Typical day consisted of general sales i.e, Customer relations, Pricing, Setup of delivery and/or pick up times, etc.
Delivery days were mostly spent taking in items from our delivery trucks, taking stock/inventory of all items, unwrapping/assembling items and moving them to the showroom floor.
Management was always friendly, understanding and willing to work with you every step of the way to ensure that your time at Ashley would be a great one.
Lots of ups and downs as is typical with any large company but the atmosphere was always happy and entertaining. Never a dull moment!
Hardest part of the job was the moving and rearranging of furniture as well as loading and unloading of customer/company vehicles, lots of heavy lifting.
Most enjoyable part was helping customers find what they are looking for at an amazing price that they can be comfortable with. Nothing like seeing the smile and glow of a satisfied customer!
