No respect for employees
Was fun writing for them at the beginning despite the wage being fairly poor. The trouble began when the company stopped respecting work hours (sending revisions at inappropriate times, often forcing me to drop everything and run home to do them). Upon asking for this practise to stop, so reasonable work hours can be maintained, I was met with assurances that yes absolutely, we'll stop. The very next day I receive a text from my supervisor saying we'll need you to do this tonight. I say: I am not available tonight and will be able to get home at roughly 2am, will do this tomorrow. They say: no, you stay up till 5am to work as it's due today. I quit immediately. Tldr: get your act together and function like an actual company if you don't want to get shut down.
