I did Christmas party planning and assisting children, staff and parents in a supportive roll.
I learned social skills.

the environment was very friendly and the staff, parents and children were very appreciative.

the most enjoyable part of the job was making crafts and connecting with the parents and children.

Be prepared for hard physical labor if you wish to work for this company. Sensetise your smelling senses to dangerous gasses such as nox and chroline gasses . Generally clean environment to work can be noisy hot and lots of dust depending upon the area of operation. Good wages but the current management keeps trimming benefits. Must have clean criminal record and credit checks. High security environment.

Four years ago, the company and the union didn't get along for the collective bargaining. Union members decided to go on strike. The non union or salaried employees had to step into the operations. As a supervisor, I had to quickly train employees so that the job can be done and safely. At this time, upper management was very supportive. The hard part of the job was very long hours because of the picket lines. Working with other supervisors was the most enjoyable part of my job
Pros
Continious learning through the complexity of the business
Cons
Some macromanaging
