Its retail, there is nothing glorious about it, your team should be your family, your customers are the reason you have headaches, your managment should be one of you, not bossing you. I think that its more for younger people and that its a bit dramatic at times... but at the end of the day you are your own person so patience is also key!

I do not know personally about Eaton Centre managers, but I do know mine and she's fabulous. I remember during my interview she asked me what my last manager was like and asked me a year later if she had lived up to my last one. She's kind, she's fearless, and she's honest. My district manager is the same. I'm sure you should be okay at Eaton Centre.

Working in an Ardene has its rough moments, like major price point changes or angry customers who want BOGO instead of 30% off. But I would not change my job just because of some minor step backs. It's a lot of fun. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
