This was a good place to work for a first job. I made a lot of friends and learned how to problem solve and succeed in the workforce. The biggest downside is the low pay, but there is a tip pool even if you’re not a server.

If you want a part-time and only get minimum wage then this place is for you. Co-workers are amazing, management is lackluster. I learned a lot here. I've learned all the stations. If you show them you're willing to learn then they will train you on all stations. But don't expect any big raise.

Good training, good place to learn and grow. Pay isn’t the best and working late sucks. If you want to learn the basics by the books this is a great restaurant to start at.

Problem with deaf. They nothing learn it and give us raises wages , they never give me more learn become successful, I don’t like change managers I like stay old one manager , I am not happy with them. Let me go with communication with them and I have lots learn different work and new food

Poor management

Working at applebees was pretty simple. If the manager liked you, you got hours and you didnt get yelled at and could get away with anything. If they didnt like you however, your hours dropped and you were scrutinized for every detail.

Fun environment, easy work, good customer service experience

Have to suck up, poor management, catty environment, no guaranteed hours

Management changed rather often. New employees were made supervisors and even full managers rather than loyal employees who have been there for years. Management tended to be very toxic towards staff. For example, sitting together at a table and talking badly about their employees rather than discussing issues in private. Team moral became very low due to this and many staff members began to leave. Overall most employees began to dread coming in to work because of this.

Pretty good people, low pay for amount of work you do. Would recommend being a waiter over cook. More consistent hours as waiter and less of a struggle to switch shifts

Good place to work for your frist job or if your in school

Good place to work if you are in school or just need a second job pretty flexible for hours. management was great and willing to help and teach you the ropes. Can be stressful and fast pace but overall i enjoyed my time there only bad thing i can think of is its a part time minim wage job.

I learned here how to do every work in a pace . Management is cooperative.the hardest part of job is that i am the last person working there and therefore you can not judge your total hours in week.

I got fired by a girl that didnt even work at my location for forgeting my pants in my rides vehicle and not being able to get ahold of him to drive the pants back.. She was jealous cause I was good looking.

Keep taking things away from employees and you start to take away a reason to work there. Too money hungry. Not enough about the job being done, just enough to save the money. No passion in a place like this. Staff is what makes these kinds of jobs

Hard work but good staff

Applebee's has gotten me where I am today, it's a hard days work on your feet but the people are good. There is a certain rush when you get through a crazy busy night, like it's a challenge. The flexibility with about of shifts, hours is great. I always like that if I need extra money it's usually easy to pick up shifts.

A typical day at Applebee's is serving customers, cleaning on down time and making sure customers are happy leaving. Management is great! Co-workers are fun and enjoyable to work with!

Productive and fun work place with great management

Applebees's is a job that I've had that I have always been excited to go to. The people that I work with have become my friends, the management is tolerant and always eager to help when required. It is an organized place where everyone works well together. Sometimes it can get so busy that your section will fill up in minutes, but with the experience I have I'm always able to keep up but if I were to ever find myself "in the weeds", I know there is always someone I can turn to for help.

Not a productive environment

Work was long and extremely boring. The kitchen was not very well organized, a lot of my time was spent traveling trough the kitchen. This could have all been avoided if they planned the layout of the kitchen better. Management was slow and unmotivated. Did not make me envy working there for long.

Was usually very busy, there was never a time for a break. Overall I enjoyed with working with most of my co-workers and I had great managers. There were many stressful times when there would be a huge rush but I was able to get through it. Overall it was a great job.
