The most useful review selected by Indeed Not good management. Lots of politics team leads. But good colleague. More flexible work pattern. Less change of promotion. But lots of room to study new instruments and get hands on experience.

Toxic workplace

Toxic environment. You get to your locket worrying that people are talking about you. At group meetings uou feel insecure cause no one trusts anybody. You work hard because custodian will always see your flaws. You learn from mistakes but not in an encouraging way.

Challenging and rewarding work

During my time at Apotex, the company had highs and lows. All in all though, I learned lots, enjoyed my co-workers and was respected by the company. Until they decided to close the Winnipeg plant.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié travailler de chez moi en tant que Coordinator Sales Support et j'ai eu le plaisir aussi de rencontrer mes collegues une fois dans un événement sociale ce qui a été optionnel. J'ai eu la chance davoir un patron qui a beaucoup de talent en la matière et qui m'aurait beaucoup aidé a avancer ma carrière si j'étais restée plus longtemps mqis j'ai du quitter l'emploi pour prendre un conge de long durée pour des raisons familiales.

The leadership is not aware of what is going inside the company. Lots of nepotism and politics.Supervisors are like dictators and micromanagement is in almost every department.

Great Learning Experience

This is a great place to start a career and learn new techniques. I have been trained thoroughly and have knowledge and confidence now than I ever did. It is a lot of documentation though, however it is better with LIMS. Some teamleads are really bad, nosy and give noo space to grow - the team leads of inprocess group and one from finished product. The colleagues are very helpful and great, the manager is wonderful too.

Room for improvement: Communication and growth opportunities could be better. Overall decent environment. Worth working at as a starting career job, but once you get a year or two of experience look elsewhere.

Good place to start experience

Overall good place to work at

Overall good place to work at. But your life here depends on which shift you work at, who your supervisor is and if s/he personally likes you. Some chemists get to learn new things, others keep doing the same stuff every day. But at least you can pay the bill and save some money.

Favouritism

Non productive , non competent terrible management , nepotism and favouritism at all management levels. Poor leadership. Though lots of training opportunities. But some departments don’t use the talent of the employee which can have a negative impact on morale and job performances. no motivation provided to employees. Great training. Management encourages promotion and advancement of only certain groups of people based on the favouritism and personal bias. Political and discouraging environment for those who actually wants to work. Middle Management promotes overtime even though it is not required. Pros: clean environment, helpful coworkers, lots of training g opportunities

Productive and healthy environment

Nice place with some advanced machinery but the management side, some are having their own mindset which sometimes wrongly judges the dedicated employee and leads them to quit. But coworkers are very cooperative

Worst Management

Favoritism and unfair distribution of job responsibilities all over the floor which made work environment very toxic. Moreover, it will decrease employee morale, and negatively impact productivity. It's important for management to ensure that all employees are treated fairly and have equal opportunities for advancement.

workload is easy and manageable if you know how. pay is absolute trash. supervisors are not all helpful. people steal others food- which reflects on how much people are payed.
