Do. Not. Work. Here.
Associate Analyst (Former Employee) –  Buffalo, NY10 May 2019
Do yourself a favor and just don't. Do not work here. Don't read the occasional decent review and think "maybe the negative reviews were just miserable people who didn't try to make the best of it", because that was me and I fully regret it. It only took me three months to leave this place. This is mind-numbing, monotonous drone work. Management does not communicate with employees AT ALL. Ridiculous quotas are dropped on you last minute. Almost no advanced notice for meetings. The pay is insulting. They tell you they have a quarterly bonus that could be equivalent to a full paycheck, not even close. Couple hundred dollars pre-tax, if you're lucky. The company is completely disorganized and an absolute mess. This company is awful and the extremely high turnover rate speaks to that. Please, do yourself a favor and stay FAR away.
Pros
Health insurance is good and affordable.
Cons
Literally everything else.

Overworked and Underpaid
AML Investigator (Former Employee) –  Cleveland, OH1 May 2019
I worked for AML Rightsource in 2018. While I was there, I was expected to work 70 hours per week, with no overtime pay. The complete lack of any real management was astounding; I didn't have a manager that I reported to, but had 4 managers at any given time that gave conflicting instructions. They acted completely perplexed when I quit, and pretended that they didn't treat everybody their like cattle.
Pros
decent benefits
Cons
low pay, poor management.

Associate Analyst (Former Employee) –  Phoenix, AZ15 April 2019
AML RightSource invests in their employees. They hire people with little to no experience and train them through rigorous months of development. They gave their employees lots of autonomy to work at the best of their abilities.
Pros
Early career development

Good if you want to get your feet wet and gain experience in the data analyst field and banking world. Not much room for growth. Also, it is an unstable environment.

Decent, but don't recommend to any serious professional.
Analyst (Former Employee) –  Cleveland, OH23 October 2018
Some managers are rude/unprofessional. They give you unrealistic and stressful quotas on a daily basis. Everything is your fault, not the team leaders or managements, get used to that. High turnover rate. Company merged and everything changed for the worst. Wasn't bad with the original owners.

The pay and benefits are good. Good opportunity to gain experience. Hours are flexible as long as you complete your work, which is nice, but may take you 8-10 hours a day.
Pros
Pay, experience, normal benefits.
Cons
Management, team leaders, daily goals, high turnover.

No Job stability, no room for advancement.
Associate Analyst II (Former Employee) –  Hudson, OH2 October 2018
No job stability, and no room for advancement. You could just be fired once a project is over. Many upper management workers will often not be clear with you when there is an issue, there is often a-lot of beating around the bush. Rarely can get direct feedback from exactly who you would like to receive it from within management,
Pros
Compensation is good, and you only work during the week.
Cons
No job stability, no room for advancement.

Dont work here
AML (Former Employee) –  Phoenix, AZ16 September 2018
This position is somewhat dehumanizing. You are treated like a number and the quality of your work is meaningless as the only thing that matters is pumping out as many cases as you can during the day. It is also very difficult to feel respected or trusted in any capacity here as only certain projects allow you to actually submit your own work, as QC will make unnecessary edits to innocuous items such as word choice or sentence structure to remove personality from your narratives and create a cookie cutter paper that you are required to blindly submit with your name on.

Impossible to advance. No matter what you do there is no appreciation. Management doesn't care about employees.
After multiple exceptional performance reviews I was declined any raise or extra responsibility to advance my skills.

Only if you need an entree to compliance
Senior Associate Compliance Analyst (Current Employee) –  Phoenix, AZ20 June 2018
Low salary in comparison to similar positions. Young, inexperienced, unqualified, and in some cases, rude and condescending management. Few advancement opportunities unless you’re from the home office or are “close” to someone who is. Mysterious criteria used to select individuals for higher level assignments. Management appears to genuinely fear pushing back on clients, even when doing so may improve production, which is surprising because it seems to be what the company values over all else. One particular manager is a favorite amongst the staff. He is personable and professional, yet bound by the shortsightedness of senior management and operations.

Some great people work here, which helps me through the days, but that fact is not enough to balance the cons. Moral is rapidly slumping due in large part to a lower level manager who appears to have no management experience, people skills, or proper oversight.
Cons
Low pay, inexperienced management, lack of consistent structure

Decent place to work and gain expierience
Compliance Analyst II/SAR Investigator (Current Employee) –  Phoenix, AZ3 June 2018
Decent company that helps get a foot in the door to a growing industry. The company offers flexible schedules and you gain a large amount of AML experience quickly, working with a plethora of different clients such as banks, MSBs and crypto currency; however, the compensation and room for advancement is greatly lacking.
Pros
Flexible schedule, gaining expierience
Cons
low pay in comparison to industry standards, no advancement opportunity.

Good Company to Get Your Foot in the Door and Get Out
Analyst (Former Employee) –  Cleveland, OH3 June 2018
Pompous, unqualified management fails to invest in the employee and focuses on quantity of production over quality.

Belittlement of employees is a disturbing way to try to improve behavior. Unacceptable.

This a good company to help you pay the bills, learn the AML industry and then leave for a better opportunity.

Don't give up anything to work here.
Pros
Laid Back
Cons
Horrific Management and Corporate Structure, Doesn't invest in the employees, Prefers quantity over quality in an industry where quality matters most

A fine place to get experience and get out
AML Analyst (Current Employee) –  Hudson, OH9 May 2018
The company doesn't pay particularly well and plays favorites with employees. If you're looking to get into the AML/BSA compliance field and need some experience it's not a bad place to spend a year or so.

If you want to do AML stuff and you are right out of college this is a great place to work. Most people burn out after a year and the remaining people are promoted.

Good environment, young company, not invasive
BSA/AML Analyst (Current Employee) –  Cleveland, OH21 March 2018
My experience has been pretty good. They train you and can move you through different projects giving you experience in multiple AML functions. Management has been incredibly accommodating to schedules for whatever reason (life, appointments, etc.). The mentality is basically "as long as you get your work done". Daily and weekly production are reasonable for the most part. Have been on 5 projects so far, only 1 had impractical requirements due to the client expectations being unrealistic.
Pros
No micromanagement, flexible hours, multiple work experiences
Cons
Some client banks are difficult to deal with, company was recently bought so many changes are occuring

AML Compliance Analyst (Former Employee) –  Hudson, OH27 January 2018
Great entry level job. Once hired, you will be happy for the work you get. When work slows be prepared for management to get sloppy and assign whatever they have to offer. I would not expect any rewards for working extra or completing a project on time and ahead of schedule. The people you work with are great people. The culture expects you to compete against your peers in a cut-throat competitive atmosphere. Project leaders and Quality analysts are rude and promote a derogatory atmosphere among the new.
Pros
Flexibility
Cons
poor management, terrible leadership

Just Don't Pay Enough
AML Analyst (Current Employee) –  Cleveland, OH14 January 2018
Great atmosphere. Laid back management, company is growing fast, but they don't pay a living wage. They do train you and will hire based on intelligence and not experience, but after a year I am still making 10K less than the market value for my position. If you have any experience at all, do not join this firm. If you have no experience and are interested in how AML work is done (and have some savings to lean on) this isn't a bad place to pick up skills, but get out as soon as you can.
Pros
Laid Back, Will Train You, reasonable benefits package
Cons
Low Wages, corporate structure is a mess, high turnover

If you're looking for a way to get your foot in the door for the AML/BSA industry, then by all means apply. You will be overworked with poor management, but the experience you garner from it will help you move on to another AML-related job that will treat and value you better.

Small Firm
Litigation Paralegal (Former Employee) –  Alpharetta, GA21 December 2017
This is a small firm so there is no standard training and no benefits. Not the place for advancement. The administrative staff is nice enough but there are not a lot of people at this firm.

Just no. Great entry level if you have nothing better going on for you. If you have to settle and take something and this is the only viable fit then take it.
