This company is great, it rewards hard work, provides all training and support. The culture is wonderful, everyone is eager to help and are positive and friendly. Not only is the compensation amazing, but there are medical/dental benefits included.

Medical and dental benefits, great compensation package, paid for the work you do, no limits on earnings, friendly family culture

Cons

Some long hours, but worth it for the pay. Requires dedication and ability to manage emotional up's and downs

Worth it

This company provides benefits I wish I had been offered when my children were young. The process of learning to get your insurance license and training to become proficient in the field is hard work, but definitely worth it. Not many jobs provide the income potential of this opportunity or the flexibility to set your own schedule. I really appreciate the mentoring and training, as well as the supportive family feeling of the office culture.

I was pretty skeptical when I first took this job because it sounded like it was too good to be true. Yes I had to pay for my insurance license up front, but now I am a licensed agent. With the mentoring and the teaching culture that surrounds everything that they do not only have I learned to become a better agent I have become a better person. I also have the opportunity to mentor others and it is really fulfilling to know that I am helping other people more than I'm helping myself. There is a lot of hard work involved but at the end of the day it is always worth it

An Amazing Opportunity

I have worked with AIL for 3.5 years so far and came into this field completely new to the industry not having a clue about anything. My first year (23 years old) I made $105'907. This opportunity launched my life, put my family in a brand new home, brand new car, etc.. This career allowed me to grow so much as an individual by pushing me to be better and do better. You can go from 0 to 100 real quick in this industry as long as you're coachable, have a strong work ethic, and actually put in the time to learn the tricks of the trade. One of the best things about this opportunity is that you work like a family and not as a boss/employee environment. Everyone is cheering for you and willing to put in as much time as need be to help you with whatever you need. Great place to work overall... great people!

It is app to use to make the work-life balance but implementing some good time management skills. The people there are amazing, the recognition from teammates and management is unsurpassed, the commission is some of the highest I've ever seen as well as yearly renewals. You definitely need to be organized, self-motivated, and eager to always learn.

What is most enticing part about working with AIL is the endless career advancement. Your income and promotions is performance based. It clamed itself a insurance company and it kind of is. But it's more like a commercial marketing company which send out people to strangers' houses. The benefit plans don't make much senses and they will tell you it's easy to make money and you will be giving leads. But don't believe it. it's not true!!!it's still all cold leads!!

A great next career!

I was employed in the industrial sector for 35 years. I worked extremely hard, but was limited in how far I could go, based on a very competitive work environment. Compounded with daily stress of the work atmosphere, I was very much ready to retire and seek other opportunities. I am very excited about the opportunity and potential that AIL Edmonton is providing. The management is both supportive and positive! The team feels like family as everyone is there to support each other. Yes, you do have to work hard; but through hard work, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn / teach, the opportunity is truly unlimited. The products offered by the company are there to help families, and you feel good about delivering a product which provides this. Best of all, I can work under my own schedule. The company fully endorses you building your own team and provides lots of training to help you reach your goals. Excited about the potential with AIL Edmonton!

Truly Amazing Opportunity

If you are looking for a 9-5, clock in clock out, hourly wage position to just do your "job", this isn't for you. This is a career that changed my life completely for the better. It has opened up doors I have never thought were possible. This is an opportunity to change your life and help change others' lives. I get to work with my best friends every single day and make a crazy amount of money doing it. Don't think twice, just do it!

Skeptical at first, but happy I made the change

After going in and hearing the presentation, I admit I was a little skeptical as the opportunity seemed too good to be true. But upon learning about the company and speaking to some individuals, I quickly realized that this was not a typical insurance company. I liked the idea of not having to friends and family prospect, which enables individuals to make high incomes right off the bat, providing they of course have the work ethic.

Amazing opportunity

Working at American Income is an opportunity unlike any other. You are given the opportunity to shape and mould your career for yourself and chose how quickly you advance and how much income you make. An excellent training program and support system of managers and mentors ensure that, even if you are new to the industry, you have all the tools and resources to be successful. This is not a job for everybody. With the amount of self-direction and schedule you need to be able to hold yourself to account for the amount of hard work and effort that you put into learning and executing the systems and processes. If you can’t hold yourself responsible for putting in an honest full day’s work, then you won’t be successful. The only limitations on your opportunity are those that you place on yourself.

Schedule is also limited by availability of clients, at minimum some evening and weekends are required

I was skeptical when I first started with it being commission. What I found though was that the company has amazing mentors who genuinely want you to succeed as well as a proven training program. This helped me to be confident in my abilities to not only earn a stable and consistent income but allowed me to work harder and earn more then I ever had working a salaried position within my first year. The office has a people first, family dynamic. Everyone is there to help and encourage your personal and professional growth.

This company is the BIGGEST scam ever!

Please be careful with this company. They will pressure you into paying lots of money to take "courses" to sell life insurance. Its an actual joke. I worked in the office, and you were expected to cold call people and try to get them to apply for a job and basically manipulate them into sending over $500 to take a course. I honestly have no idea how they are still able to operate.
