A day in the office would begin with training classes for certain skills that need to be improved all the time. Training that is tailored to your needs and management support all new and rookie agents with whatever they need to become successful. Very supportive and fruitful environment for people to grow. Not a cut throat office where people are only there for themselves and out to beat each other. Most enjoyable part of the job is enrolling families in our benefits and the feeling knowing that this family is protected for life whenever anything happens to them. Hardest part of the job is the discipline and motivation you have to have for yourself to grow. No one is pushing and checking on you every hour to see what you've done. You need to be a workhorse when no one is watching you and when no one is breathing down your neck about how much work you need to do.

It clamed itself a insurance company and it kind of is. But it's more like a commercial marketing company which send out people to strangers' houses. The benefit plans don't make much senses and they will tell you it's easy to make money and you will be giving leads. But don't believe it. it's not true!!!it's still all cold leads!!

It really is an amazing place to develop sales skills and make a good living if you have time to grind and master your craft. If you are only in it half way... This wont be the place for you. Overall, a great place to work!

If you have the ability to work full commission jobs than this will be a good fit with lots of room to grow. They give you the speech that what they want you to aim for is to become a manager and upwards and they do mainly focus on union leads so it is a lot easier to make money than any other insurance company out there.

a typical day at work is pretty easy going. I learned a lot while working in the company. The management is very hands on and they train constantly. Its a very diverse place and everyone gets along. The hardest part of the job was dealing with complaints from clients regarding their policies however, I did enjoy working with everyone to resolve issues. These are learning time.

AIL is on of the very few companies that will graciously reward its hardest working employees. While working at AIL i have grown exponentially, such as in my public speaking, managing myself and others or even the confidence in myself. The offices are always full of nice caring people that care about how you are and are willing to help make sure you are always working at your best potential. An average day involves being surrounded by experienced people that you are able to rally questions and information with that will help yourself and even the others around you.

100% Commission with too many expenses

They have a great environment. Really this is an ideal place to get sales experience. You can make a over a grand a week, but paying for hotels and such can make the take home money relatively small. Ideal for beefing up your resume. Expect to make money, but not a profit unless you work very, very, very hard.
