Fun place to work
American eagle is a fun place to work everyone is friendly and you end up making friends very easily. The management does push you to always help customers even when you already talked to them. Other locations management was fine just mine Wasnt the best.

I started and lasted about a week. They have pretty much no training program and none of the employees have much knowledge about anything in the store, including the managers. Everyone was friendly and nice but it was a bunch of teenagers so there was quite a bit of “high school drama”. Other than that the product is good, just a little expensive.

Management could be better.
Was hired with an amazing manager. 90 days in Store Manager left, and other manager was promoted because they looked good in paper! New store manager was rude over headsets to staff and other managers. We didn't know how they would act when one came into the store. Pre covid was pretty chill. Post covid Sr Mgmt reduced bonus, and increased sales targets. When issues would arise we'd bring it to the attention of Sr. Mgmt nothing was ever done. Same drama just different day! The discount was great. 60% off 10 items every month, the AEO culture was great. If they changed the store manager it would be a worth while place to work, and find someone who believes and trust their staff and leads vs micro-managing them.

Good but Competitive Place to Work
Very professional and energetic brand to work for, however the sales culture is very competitive and there is little forgiveness when one doesn't meet performance standards.

Bad job
Bad job, low pay, hires young high school students who don’t know how they should and should not be treated. Management is not pleasant to work with. Unpaid breaks.
