Nothing to learn
Fulfillment Associate (Former Employee) - Yyz4 - 18 September 2023
Just the issue is Management and promotions are just for their favorite , no life changing experience in 4 years just feel like wastage of time. Don’t work for more than 3-4 months there

Good temporary job, but leave ASAP.

Amazon's fine if you just need to have income coming in for a couple months, since you can just pretty much ignore everyone else and clock in and clock out. The longer you stay though, the longer you see all the unsavory stuff and it gets bad pretty quickly. Time off options are some of the better ones I've seen. But management sucks. The company just takes and takes and takes and no real recognition is given.

Nice to know you are bringing an Amazon smile to a customer's face.

What is the best part of working at the company? Great benefits that start on your first day of employment. Easy assignments and great leadership members that offer help and encouragement. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Maintaining the QPI rating each shift, adhering to the attendance policy. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Very loud inside the building, ear protection is provided. Loads of fun events throughout the year. Lots of opportunities for cross-training into other jobs. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Start the day with a group meeting, stretches to get ready for working the line, receive your workstation assignment. Fast pace from start of shift to end. Standing always for 10 hours. 2 breaks (one unpaid, one paid) of 30 minutes each.
