Enjoyed the time What is a typical day like for you at the company? Coming to work at 10.30am , load my van, go on the route. Come back around 9 pm.

Horrible
Driver/Delivery (Former Employee) - Bristol, VA - 1 December 2023
The stress of going to work every single day never knowing if it was your turn to get fired. You would see it happen to everyone else. Usually for the most random things. One day someone would forget a drink in a van and get chewed out for it. The next day someone would be fired the next day someone is getting chewed out. They say don't deliver in certain conditions and then fire you for returned packages, or fire you for delivering when they said not to.

Jobs at Amazon DSP
Travail correct/livreur
Un salaire correct dans l’ensemble, mais suffisant pour le travail demander. Pourrait donner un peu plus d’empathie pour leur travailleur et augmenter leur salaire

Driving and delivering packages
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Edmonton, AB - 8 November 2023
Delivering packages to customers door steps; if you have a residential route will be fun. Manage your own time at work. Overtimes guarenteed, 8 to 10 hour shifts.

The work is difficult. Packages are about 300 per day including heavy packages more than 45 lbs. fast pace environment. No health benefits. In the winter time hard to drive

Excited to start, quit after 3 months
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Nanaimo, BC - 20 October 2023
Needed a switch from a physically demanding job, and after being contacted by Amazon and had everything laid out, it sounded like the perfect fit for what I needed. Fast forward three months, I quit to find a better job that I actually love doing. This company makes their employees start their day as late as 11am and then expects them to complete their full 10 hours every single shift. The wage is far too low, and the amount of deliveries put on one person is far too high. If you're ahead of your day and hoping to be done early, you get slammed with a rescue and have to remain out for longer. If you've fallen behind, you'll MAYBE have someone rescue you but then be asked to go and rescue someone else. The management, the system to manage deliveries, the equipment they provide, and the expectations put on each and every driver are all the reasons why there is literally a new person showing up on a DAILY BASIS! The first words I said when I quit was: "I'm happy to go back to having Amazon work for me".
Pros
Course to work for them was free
Cons
Long hours, garbage pay, unrealistic expectations, basically slave labour

Advertised Full time Permanent work, started getting days off due to "not enough work"
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Nisku, AB - 11 September 2023
Typically a day would include feeling rushed and quickly learning that despite management encouraging you to take your breaks they don't ACTUALLY want you to take your breaks. I learned that Amazon themselves expect their drivers to take no breaks when it was explained to me that I was going too slow and they showed the rate they expect deliveries to be made and while mine dipped when I took my lunch, the expected line was perfectly straight. The only positive was other drivers seemed to be fairly nice and supportive for the most part. There are also a number of vans that need a lot of fixing and while they have safety reports that need to be filled every day it seems they don't even look at them as I made mention of fixes that one van needed a number of times. Lastly, the job was put out as full time, permanent. Then when peak season was over I was given a day off due to a lack of routes. Then a week later another day off, before they simply sent a poorly worded and confusing e-mail that informed me my "probation was terminated"
Pros
majority of coworkers are supportive, get exercise
Cons
No flexibility, feel rushed, failure to listen to safety complaints

Fast pace, productive, hard carrying
Warehouse Associate (Former Employee) - Guelph, ON - 23 August 2023
Honestly not the worst place to work as long as your leads like you. a lot of the time though if you are a good worker you are carrying half the shift on your back cus most people slack off as soon as the leads leave haha.

Hard work but flexible and fun
Driver (Former Employee) - Cambridge, ON - 22 August 2023
Driving all day is not for everyone but if you enjoy it you’ll be judged fine. Good time management and speed is required especially during peak season

Hard working and no respect
Delivery Driver (Current Employee) - Nisku, AB - 17 August 2023
Not worth itThe worst job ever you only make 2000$ , you sign for 80 hours for 2 weeks but you only make 50 or 60 hours and they give over 200 stops and if you be late they will fire you, I don’t recommend this job seriously

Stressfull - SRTL
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Winnipeg, MB - 10 June 2023
Do not work with them, the worst management ever seen. Arrogant and rude team leaders, force you to work fast by calling 5-7 times in a shift. No schedule ever, will tell you one day before your shift or keep you on standby for 2-3 days, Unhygienic Van interior(smell like washroom) never washed or cleaned, will get you to clean Vans.
Pros
Rarely
Cons
Srtl*

Pros: work alone Cons: everything else imaginable
Delivery Driver (Current Employee) - Whitby, ON - 12 May 2023
Pay doesn’t really match work load, little to know perks as a driver, if so, they are intentionally hidden and miss led from employees. Horrible work environment.

Fun
Driver (Former Employee) - Bramalea, ON - 3 May 2023
Centra is a fun and collaborative place to work. Whether it be in manufacturing or installs, the work is team centered. The fact that all employees are owners ( approx 97%) means that there is a great team approach to all tasks and projects. As well, all the owners benefit from the success of the company through shareholders dividends. Great place to work! Pros
