Dental Centre Manager in Russell, ON
on 4 August 2022
Current Dental Centre Manager
Altima Dental is truly a wonderful corporation to work for. The staff and patients are so friendly. Although the head office is located in Toronto, everyone is super supportive and always available for a phone call or teams meeting. My regional manager is constantly offering support and offering to take on additional tasks when being a manager feels overwhelming or stressful. Of course, there are stresses of the job, but that comes with any position you take. I would say the biggest one as a manager is finding staff especially because I'm in a smaller town. Overall, Altima is a great place to work and I hope to be here for a long time! Dental Centre Coordinator in Toronto, ON

High stress, lack of empathy, toxic environment
I worked for Altima Dental for 6 years in multiple locations. I felt as if I went above and beyond helping everywhere I could. In the end it was the lack of attention and care that made me want to leave. Your just a pond in there big empire, once they’re “done” with you your insignificant. They ask you to write down reviews on here to boost there star rating. Just that says so much!! No one is volunteering there feedback out of there own good will. I hope the company changes to be more what they used to be years ago - and actually care about the people in the frontlines. Receptionist in Toronto, ON

inconsistent scheduling, no support and poor communication in management
This company baits and switches once you accept the terms upon hire. There is no consistency once you actually start working so you can work out of a 100 different offices within the GTA rather than being at one location (as discussed). Be prepared for confusion because there are different procedures/protocols at each office which also means you can never have any patient rapport. Managers are unsupportive and disorganized!Associate Dentist in Morrisburg, ON

Relaxed and best environment to work
I worked at altima for a year and it was a best experience. I wish I could have continued with them. Best team and quick response from management. Highly recommended.Dental center manager in Nova scotia

Great place to work
Supportive environment - upper management is great. People are intelligent and prepared - or if not, they don’t last long. Concerns are heard and everyone is caring and open. What would you say about your employer?
