Worst plant I ever worked at. So toxic, unprofessional and out right dangerous
Plant Operator (Former Employee) –  Fort St. John, BC28 March 2018
The management is absolutely horrible, worst area foreman I have ever encountered. supervisors and leads are not helpful nor do they provide any training. They encourage belittling and discrimination of their employees and the HR department is no help when it comes to any employee trying to make a change or encourage growth and advancement of the overall company and its practices. The morals and ethics this company stands by it shameful and pretty much non existent. It’s a who knows who kind of job rather then training and experience based.
I strongly discourage anyone from applying or working here especially the Townsend facility. So disorganized, unaware and the lack of training and knowledge is absolutely awful. This company should be ashamed of the way the conduct business.
Pros
Alrighg compensation
Cons
Down right a dangerous place to work. Management, lack of professionalism, ethics, morals and training.

Stay away
Contractor (Former Employee) –  Alberta, Canada6 September 2017
As a Contractor there was no direction, no clarity of what my tasks where. If you asked a question or challenged management you were walked out the next week and told it was because you didn't mesh with the team.

No leadership
Operator (Former Employee) –  AB19 March 2017
leadership and mentor ship very poor, supervisors have no people skills and don't listen to your ideas, or care. Morale is very low due to unprofessional supervisors. Camp is sometimes a camp, sometimes not depending on what suits them that day. There are some great people that work there
Pros
great peers
Cons
bad management

Beware!!
Senior Operator (Former Employee) –  Northwest Projects5 July 2016
Lots of promises made that weren't kept. Zero safety culture. Compensation was okay once they got it right but not worth the isolation in a below average camp. Okay to do if your options are limited but you will probably continue to look for something better. Watch your back!
Pros
Good compensation
Cons
High stress, no training, zero safety culture, no support from upper management. Continually trying to make "lemonade out of lemons"

poor management for contractors
Sr. Financial Analyst (contract) (Former Employee) –  Calgary, AB14 May 2015
As a contractor was overloaded by work in comparison with my peers-permanent employees, overtime hours were not paid in accordance with the company's policy.

Low pay rate - not in conjunction with the work load and difficulty.

No job security - as soon as highlighted some issues to the managers, my contract was terminated.

Disrespectful behavior of managers to staff is tolerated.
Pros
learned a lot in a short time due to high work load
Cons
long hours, low pay, no job security, disrespect opf managers

Great place to transition, but not to stay at
Operations Engineer (Former Employee) –  Calgary, AB9 March 2015
Positives include a lot of responsibility with little experience, which leads to great learning experiences.

Low job satisfaction, continued low morale throughout the office, inexperienced and poor management team (not to mention constant unprofessional situations between upper management and employees).

Highlights include a lot of extra company days off and office celebrations, but it is essentially a company to be used as a stepping stone to more rewarding opportunities.
