Security Guard in Ottawa, ON

Boring, no advancement
I worked under the LCBO contract. You will stand around and do nothing for about 10.5 hours a day and maybe be busy for 30 minutes. Mind numbingly boring with no potential for job advancement. Guards get fired weekly for violating the awful policies put in place. You’re basically going to be a cardboard sign with a pair of handcuffs, don’t expect to get much action/experience. Great place to work if you want to do nothing and get paid for it.
