Challenging place to work
Manager (Former Employee) –  New York, NY3 March 2018
I am thankful to the company because of the different responsibilities I was exposed to while working at Allied. I did everything from inventory management, billing, sales, depreciating company assets as well as other tasks that were not a part of my job description. Unfortunately this was a result of fellow employees resigning under suspicious circumstances and leaving the company abruptly. Instead of hiring replacements immediately, the work load was divided among remaining employees and business went on as usual. There you are doing your work as well as work of your predecessor without proper training and are still expected to meet all deadlines without any further compensation.
Pros
Exposure to a variety of different fields
Cons
Corporate Management does not care about their employees

Bad trucks, less pay, high turnover, good insurance,
Aircraft Fueler (Current Employee) –  Elizabeth, NJ24 January 2018
Very high turnover but Great coworker and trainers willing to help.
They hire more because they know most people would leave during training and the remaining during winter.
Noise and fumes from aircrafts, the high octane gas from the Jet fuel causing headaches.but you will soon get used to it. slips and falls.
Exposure to all weather: through out the shift you would be on the ramp', unless its less busy.
They don't allow for part time either. Only full time.
Night and Morning shifts already taken by the few old folks due to less workload on these shifts.
They know exactly how to frustrate you to leave when they get new hires.
there is a union: they don't want you (wont fight for you) they want your money.
Pros
good and low cost Benefits. Discount on lunch during holidays.
Cons
Bad trucks, less pay, high turnover etc.

Fuel Farm Operator / Commercial Aircraft Fueler (Current Employee) –  North Charleston, SC14 December 2015
Solid place to work at as a job to work at but not much in the way of progressing to a position like GM or Operations Manager.

Worked in an environment with supportive management and co-workers.
Company Aircraft Fueler (Former Employee) –  Newark, NJ27 October 2015
On a typical work day, I would check my log book and structured my schedule to maintain organization, efficiency and accuracy. I was provided with essential training to perform the tasks and responsibilities ensuring flights departed on schedule especially during inclement weather conditions. The most enjoyable part of this job was the flexibility of the schedule. A new task that i learned was how to fuel and maintain aircrafts.
Pros
Flexible schedule
Cons
Inclimint wheater
