Very busy office
Registered Nurse (Former Employee) –  Edmonton, AB4 June 2017
Doctors are great.
Support staff are great.
Supervisor and management of support staff are dishonest and deceptive. Nursing staff have been fired for trying to implement safe practices. Job is repetitive and skills will be lost if not combined with other type of employment.
Pros
Family atmosphere.
Cons
No parking available - it's a struggle to find parking daily, Only 1/2 lunch break during the whole shift.

Technician (Former Employee) –  Edmonton, AB24 May 2017
Clinic Doctors and some staff really care about the kind if work they are doing here. Management on the other hand promotes a very "worker bee culture" . Little to no appreciation unless you are one of the "chosen few". Favoritism is very evident, which makes for a very dysfunctional/poor morale working environment.
Pros
Most staff is friendly and helpful. Doctors do good things.
Cons
Management is to concerned with making themselves look good, Does not promote team work / co - worker respect, questionable practices and lack of foresight.

Good company to work for
File Clerk (Former Employee) –  Edmonton, AB7 August 2015
*Received several calls a day for charts, often having to locate them throughout the building.(hardest part of job and most rewarding)

*Filing/distributing charts, and patient information

*Pulling charts for upcoming clinics

*Updating patient chart information

*Learned to organize chart information and filing procedures

*Coworkers were great to work with and the doctors are awesome

Medical Office Assistant (Former Employee) –  Edmonton10 June 2015
Alberta Retina Consultants was a great place for me to learn a lot about the field I chose to be in. Very busy clinic, great doctors to work for. However HUGE turnover rate in the reception area, always new staff.
