Used to be amazing, not anymore!
Manager (Current Employee) - St. Albert, AB - 30 November 2023
The culture has changed significantly for the worse. I had a lot of respect and admiration for the previous CEO. This company isn't where you want to spend your time as the leadership is lost.
Pros
Work life balance
Cons
Culture and Leadership

Okay place to work
Admin support (Current Employee) - Calgary, AB - 4 October 2023
Okay place to work, there seems to be an imbalance with mangers to employees. It is extremely too heavy. Teams are told that input matters, but it really doesn’t.

It's a job
Cannabis Representative (Former Employee) - St. Albert, AB - 26 July 2023
Not the worst place to work but by no means the best. Pay is on the low end of average, employee morale is low, and change is often made without consideration to employee opinion. Overall leadership at a lower level is great, senior managers and above seem to have no regard for employee welfare though.
Pros
Personal Spending Account, Health Spending Account, EPP Programs through Telus
Cons
Culture, Pay, Benefits/Pension, Upper leadership

Very Little Diversity in Upper Management
Sr. Business/Process Analyst (Current Employee) - St. Albert, AB - 29 May 2023
Upper Management is very traditional with token representation of Visible minorities and people of color. There is excessive politics in the Organization and career progression for most people are very slow. No raises for last 7 years including factoring in Inflation and nonexistent budget on training.

Worst place I’ve ever worked
Anonymous (Current Employee) - St. Albert, AB - 12 April 2023
If I could give it negative stars I would. This is an incredibly toxic workplace. There is no training or support and the level of micromanaging is suffocating. Stay away if you know what’s good for you.
Pros
Are there any?
Cons
Terrible management, no training, managers concerning themselves with other departments instead of their own

Good place if you stay under the radar
Field Service Technician (Former Employee) - St. Albert, AB - 20 June 2022
Good place, fairly simple work. But if you want to advance you must be a yes man and have seniority. Benefits are good and salary is better than most technician jobs once you go through your yearly raises. Takes about seven years from the bottom level.

Great place for sheep
System Analyst (Former Employee) - Edmonton, AB - 28 November 2017
If you enjoy blindly follow the sheep, this is a place for you. Don't speak up, don't innovate, don't question authority and you'll have a secure job for life. This is a normal government facility with regular pros and cons.

Job security, free parking, good pay
