great work environment felt like a family
Labourer (Former Employee) – Kitchener, ON – 1 March 2017
a typical day would consist of me signing in to a computer to start and end shifts, I would then check the shop e-mail for work orders telling me what is needed to be weighed for the day/weekend and would promptly get what was needed weighed and brought to holding areas to be used in production.
I've learned many great attributes at Airboss like working under high stress time quotas for sudden changes or new recipe changes for production, learning how to be safe and respectful in a factory environment and to always be aware of my surroundings and following all safety rules.
The culture at Airboss was generally great, people would bump heads time to time but usually friendly.
the hardest part of the job which wasn't really hard just wore you down from lifting several 50lb paper bags (paper wouldn't brake down in mixers) of chemical and pouring them into plastic bags that could be run in production.
the most enjoyable part of my day was my section was allowed a radio to listen to.
