Air France a great place to work, it was a fast pace environment with always something to do. It taught you how to work with the public as well as work in a team. The hardest part of the job was dealing with difficult clients. The best part of the job where the travel benefits.

The Passengers service Agent needs to solve potential issues and inform passengers about their Flight, are responsable for meeting the needs and Safety Requirements of Passengers and Airport personnel. They assist Customers before and after a flight.

A normal day would be to key in data based on whatever is given to you and just simply do as you are told and not question anything(as told to us).

As it is not really a culture there to ask too many questions, no matter how it may seem to you.It will be a good chance for you to hone your interpersonal skills as you have to stay amiable no matter what is thrown at you.


The hardest part would be when I was told to do a task only to be told to something else and when doing that other task, you will be told that you are not supposed to do it and go back to your original task. Which is really confusing and thinking if I should go and ask a question or consider if I will be rejected or told off because I was unsure and I was new at that time.


The simplest part would be the job I was supposedly doing, as the data is there you just have to follow accordingly so there isn't much of a stress factor.


I have learned that patience is a virtue and communication is important and if you do not know, just go and ask.

The pay for this kind of job is considered slightly higher than average
Cons
No advancement, treatment of staff depends if you are amiable by their definition, No fix structure on how the task is being completed, quite contradicting and irresolute

A typical day at work would be challenging and productive.
There is always something new you learn every day after all these year.

Work place is always fun and exciting never know what could happen the next moment.

Hardest part of the job is to fill up space in a market which has a lot of capacity.

Enjoyable part is when you achieve a new long term business.

I worked as a passenger assistance. the day tarted doing a passenger list with special needs like a family booking the seats together ,how many wheel chair, passenger with a foreign language etc.. then during the checking taking care of business passenger with their need,
Then at the gate making sure all passengers are there for boarding

Productive working environment
I love working with AF/KLM, I've learned a lot from this job like treating all the passengers without discrimination, giving them an option on how they can save time and money on their next trip. Offering them an assistance if in need. The management has been helpful and supportive to me since my first day, we work as a team every single day. The hardest part of the job is to please angry travellers for some reason, maintaining to give them a smile while explaining the situation in a calm and soft voice. Heavy bags, cabin bags, checking the Visa's and other documents, lining them up, this is my typical day at work and I enjoyed it. Time flies so fast, I love working at the airport.

Environnement de travail productif et assez agréable
une vacation a l'aéroport de Paris Charles de Gaulle (France) commence sur une grosse productivité très tôt avec les vols "SHENGEN" vols a destinations de l'Europe SCHENGEN comme (Espagne,Allemagne,Italie...), il faut orienter la clientèle, les aider pour effectuer l'ENREGISTREMENT et IMPRIMER la ou les cartes d'Embarquements.
Ensuite les orienter pour faire enregistrer le ou les BAGAGES.

-Prendre congé et indiquer le lieu de l'EMBARQUEMENT.

Ce travail nécessite un fort potentiel pour travailler en equipe afin que la communication ainsi que les informations soient bien reçues par les different corps de métiers entre le personnel au sol et le personne l de Bord.

L'aspect le plus difficile selon moi reste le Facteurs Stress a bien gérer selon l'affluence quotidienne.

La pression peut énormément varier d'un jour a l'autre voir en quelques heures. la "zen attitude" accompagné d'un fort mental afin de faire face a certaines situations est requis en général pour ce poste.

L'aspect le plus agréable reste selon moi ce contact avec une Clientèle variée et cosmopolite qui nous permet sur des moments courts ou parfois plus long d'échanger quelques mots ou conversations agréable et enrichissante culturellement et intellectuellement.

Une fois arrivé dans les bureaux et avoir effectué le toping, réunion avec les directeurs commerciaux pour un bilan prospect. Sans perdre une minute début des prospect mixant conseille vente et relance client. Apres une bonne centaine d'appel effectué, une pause est nécessaire pour maintenir un bon état d'esprit lors de l'appel et surtout une bonne productivité. Etant désigné chef telepro durant 3 mois, l’après midi était le moment pour moi d'orienter conseiller et mettre en confiance nos nouveaux telepro sur le secteur Gold. J'aimais la confiance que me portais mon équipe malgré mon jeune, ce qui m'a toujours poussé à me surpasser.

It was a really nice place to work at, to do my stage here.
The stage was really rivelaine over the company. We do not usually see the inside of a big company such as Air France, but I was able to do it thanks to the amazing crew.

They are all supporte and they all take their time to explain everything to you.

Great people, too much off shoring
Rewarded by advancement if you are doing a great job and are hungry for new opportunities. Off-shoring and downsizing were the death of this company. Some of the best managers I've ever worked with.

Mauvaise gestion du centre d'appel. Debut de l'emploi est Oct 2009 et en novembre 2009 annonce de la fermerture du centre d'appel.

Mauvaise ethique de travail, peu professionel. Manque de leadership flagrant
