Toxic workplace
Senior Manager (Former Employee) - Winnipeg, MB - 30 January 2023
They are incompetent directors with a whole lot of office drama and politics. The grossest place I've worked. I Hung in there just for the flight benefits, or else I would have resigned in the first year. Very low pay because lots of people apply. coworkers are always looking to backstab, an unacceptable level of gender bios its ridiculous
Pros
floght benefits
Cons
everything else sucks

Not a bad place to work
Customer Service (Former Employee) - Mississauga, ON - 8 January 2023
Air Canada is an excellent company to work for. This job includes many travel benefits with a great work environment. The only downfall is that the first three years of the job, the pay will be very low and not a livable

Fun lifestyle
Flight Attendant (Current Employee) - Montréal, QC - 2 January 2023
Working at Air Canada ais fun for the travel benefits but the company doesn't care about us at all. We're under paid and over worked. My collegue is what makes my job great, not management.

Jobs at Air Canada
Very good benefits
Bilingual - Customer Experience Specialist (Current Employee) - Vancouver, BC - 20 December 2022
Benefits are very good but the salary is not good. The training was very good, the instructors taught everything about the job. Air canada’s culture is very nice, but the salary is the worst part. A minimum wage for this position is not fair!

Benefits
Cons
Salary

Not the best job
Ramp Agent (Former Employee) - Toronto Pearson International Airport, ON - 11 December 2022
Perks of the job were unlimited travel benefits which is a huge pro but the pay of 17$ p/h isn’t worth the amount of work expected of of you as a ramp agent, especially in the winter

Great place to work but horrible paye
Flight Controller Manager & Acting Manager In Operation (Former Employee) - Mississauga, ON - 6 December 2022
Air Canada needs to pay all their staff better. I would have never left but the wage is not livable. Also you waste so much to to get to and from work. Around 40hrs a month commuting and getting ready for work. 16.75 is not a rate for an airline if you are expecting mature adults to work hard for you.
Pros
Benefits
Cons
Wage

Horrible pay
Flight Attendant (Current Employee) - Yyz - 6 December 2022
Air canada rouge is probably the worst company to work for. They they dont pay you for work done and in comparison to air canada mainline , rouge staff are treated unfairly. Dont support staff and work employees like dogs for 16.00 An hour. A company making so much money should be able to compensate staff accordingly
Pros
Travel benefits
Cons
Pay, horrible management, religious rights not respected

Flight perks are great
Customer Relations Representative (Current Employee) - Calgary, AB - 6 December 2022
Management is terrible in the workplace. Very unorganized and chaotic atmosphere. Managers choose their favourites and actually appoint them to “tattle” on their peers. Union isn’t any better. Claims to be on your side but you must be careful what you say. Flight perks are great if you can afford to use them. With the little pay and the ever so growing economy, one can barely afford to do much, especially with small children.

A great place to work - highly recommend it. The people work in teams, and are especially effective during technology rollouts. Management was great at recognizing and promoting the top workers.

The Best environment I worked
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Former Employee) - Dorval, QC - 18 November 2022
Air Canada was one of the best environments that I worked during my career as Aircraft Mechanic. I just quit the company because I started my own business as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Contractor. I highly recommend this company.
