good government job
Work became monotonous depending on what department you worked in, where you worked, if you were a student or technician, what lab you worked in, etc. But overall, it was a great experience and the biggest highlight on my resume.

Laid-back
Really great and supportive supervisors, good training and helpful feedback. We were given a lot of control over our day as long as our tasks were completed and the workplace culture felt mainly laid-back, although the work could sometimes be fast-paced.

Challenging and exciting work
My role as a Marketing & Trade Officer entailed organizing and leading trade missions into the Middle East and North Africa as well as other functions in the role. This was not a typical government role and therefore this career was rewarding and exciting.I would recommend this to anyone with a marketing background.

Work smart and get opportunities
If you bring interest or passion to what you are doing you will get a lot of satisfaction from the work we do. Important to have government engaged in how Canada's food suppy works.

Best place to work
An extremely refreshing place to work. In my department coworkers and supervisors are laid back and understanding. The work is interesting, and they pay and hours are amazing. Due to COVID most are working from home. Highly recommend.
