Better HR than you get from a direct employer

Overall you still get shafted on pay & benefits since you're a temp worker and you'll make like $15/hr while Aerotek gets like $25/hr for you.Was placed in a Lordco warehouse. The client site was a pretty typical warehouse experience, fairly laid back, very dusty. Predictable hours etc. Was told there's an evaluation for raise after 3/6/12 months, although apparently that doesn't apply until after the 6 month Aerotek contract when you transfer to the company, so it was minimum wage while I worked there with Aerotek. Benefits are something you have to pay into... it was like $30-40 per month to have the dental coverage, which is cheaper than most individual private insurance companies but still too expensive to consider much of a benefit of working.Easy to contact your hiring manager through Aerotek if you can't make it to work because you're sick, injured, whatever, and you can talk to them candidly about any issues at the client site since they don't need to protect the butts of the client site (unlike if you talk to HR for the place you work, their job is to protect themselves).

Pros

Good HR services, no mandatory overtime

Cons

Minimum wage, little benefits, no optional overtime

It’s good experience

Work life balance is zero to none, if you want to work here work only work in sales, all other departments are treated terribly. Says it’s a feed back enriched environment but you’ll only hear about something if you’ve messed up, and by then people usually are pushed out the door and not given a chance learn or grow. Expect to be available to help recruiters all the time, then complain about the overtime being worked and don’t want to pay it

Benefits

Cons

Managers, work life balance
