Hours may be an issue
Telephone Researcher, Telephone Market Researcher (Current Employee) –  Home Based6 November 2019
Advanis is a great company to work at. Work is not too much, and flexible hours. Availability of hours become and issue where I might spend 2 weeks without hours.

Work from home market research interviewer
Market Research Interviewer - Outbound (Former Employee) –  Edmonton, AB18 April 2019
Not too bad of a place. It was my first job I found to work from home. No ability to advance. Repetitive. They also do not let you chat with co-workers because they only pay minimum wage based on the province you live in and they don't want us complaining about it. So if someone lives in Ontario and they are not as good at the job as you are, (Ontario's minimum wage is higher around $15/hour) than say in Sask (around $11/hour), well you are out of luck because your skills and dedication don't matter, it's where you live that matters. And it is based on projects they have so if they are low, you will not be given a schedule to work.
Pros
work from home
Cons
poor pay, no advancement, unreliable hours to work

Work from home
Work from Home Interviewer (Former Employee) –  Chilliwack, BC30 October 2018
I found that speaking with customers was very fulfilling. It was a casual job for me, but I learned different ways to approach customers. The hardest part of the job was the rejection. But with that, it just made me more eager to help the next person.
Pros
own hours, talking with people
Cons
rude people

Decent Work from Home Job
Telephone Researcher (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON13 May 2017
If you enjoy talking to people and reading scripts when doing so, this is a good job. I prefer to be able to veer off script a little bit to make the conversation flow better and be more comfortable. Management is very understanding and the training is good. Salary is good - paid every two weeks.
Pros
good pay
Cons
verbatim scripts

good work at home job
Telephone Interviewer (Current Employee) –  Windsor, ON4 September 2016
If you like working from home Advanis is a great part time job. When the hours are there you can work full time.
The thing about Advanis is that the hours are not consistent so it makes it hard to work your pay into your monthly budget.
But if you are looking for a part time stay at home job for a little extra money, this job is great for you.

The hours are as flexible as they come because you make your own hours.. so work/life balance is spot on.

The evening supervisors try to be helpful but often times fall short. If I have an issue I usually take it to the manager, she is quick at fixing issues and very nice and personable.

Besides the supervisors and the monitors you dont have much interaction with your co workers.
Pros
work from home, make your own hours, not physically demanding
Cons
no consistent hours, can get rather boring

Convient
Telephone Interviewer (Current Employee) –  Alberta, On8 August 2012
Advanis is a work from home job so it is very convenient. The hours are 4pm-12am so it works out perfect to have a day job and do a few hours at night for Advanis. The hardest part of the job is sitting for hours in one spot and starring at the computer screen. The most enjoyable part is being able to work from the comfort of your own home.
Pros
work from home
Cons
sitting in one spot for so long
