Fast paced, great place to develop skills in various discipline
Engineer (Former Employee) – Oshawa, ON – 18 September 2018
The company is growing at a really fast rate which led to many open opportunities/projects at various field. Many are expected to wear different hats which can be a good thing although roles and responsibilities can be blurry sometimes. Hours are great. Not for everyone but will definitely recommend it for anyone who are willing to be flexible with their duties.
Coordinator (Current Employee) – Port Perry, ON – 7 May 2018
I've worked at Adamson for nearly 3 years and have witnessed a lot of positive changes. The ability to grow in this company is limited only by yourself. This is not a place to work if you just want to collect a pay cheque and go home. Management is very open to new ideas and are constantly looking for ways to improve the workplace and processes. The finished product is incredible and instills a sense of pride in every worker.
If you work hard, you will be rewarded. If you drag your feet, you will be replaced. Simple as that. The daily challenges are what keeps me coming back, I have never been bored at work. You can feel the passion behind the entire brand and I am thrilled to be a part of it.
Steady growth with plenty of opportunity for career advancement.
Technology (Current Employee) – Port Perry, ON – 2 May 2018
Have been here for five years, I've learned more here than at all other companies plus school combined. The company is rapidly growing and manufactures everything in-house. This isn't the type of job where you can sit back and poke at a task list and collect a paycheck, working here requires a passion to constantly improve and the ability to be willing to learn new things.
We've recently received benefits and the owner has just increased wages for manufacturing. Great equal opportunity place to work. Of course there are some rough patches, but that's like any job. Seems like most of the reviews on here are from people who just want to collect a paycheck and never advance.
Opportunity to work with lots of technology, can be a very fun place to work
Production Worker (Current Employee) – Port Perry, ON – 25 April 2018
I wish I could say this is a good place to work. But it just isn’t. Management is downright pitiful, and most of them have only been working at this company for under 1 year. There is no job security, and you are constantly being threatened about being fired. The workers are nice but are vastly under appreciated. The company is desperate to hire people because they are constantly firing them. If you have choices for work, make sure this is your last choice.
Operations (Current Employee) – Port Perry, ON – 23 April 2018
In the past five years the culture of this company has drastically changed. They have introduced benefits, increased wages and offer bi-annual bonuses to all staff. Many people have grown into management roles and the core group is passionate and innovative. The company now hosts an annual charity on site and is active in promoting the local community.
It is an equal opportunity employer that has possibly the most diverse work forces in Scugog township. The CEO is very passionate and innovative and will not outsource any of the manufacturing processes overseas.
Electronics Assembler (Former Employee) – Port Perry, ON – 22 August 2017
Work hours are great. Pay is okay. No benefits. Most of the employees are good people, who work hard and are not appreciated. No job security is stressful. Not aloud to talk while working is very hard, even though you are two feet away from co-worker. A very stressful place to work.
