Associate Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Washington, DC8 March 2019
Lots to learn in the beginning, minimal support in the training process and in the field. Excellent work environment and colleagues, but pay was not sufficient for expectations of the ATR job.

Operations Manager-Mobile Consultant (Former Employee) –  Wichita Falls, TX29 November 2018

Working for Acelity
Workforce Management Real Time Specialist (Former Employee) –  San Antonio, TX13 September 2018
It was a great working environment with great people. Management would go out of their way to ensure your needs are met. The same energy was given that was received. All places have pros and cons but i would definitely work for Acelity again.

Great culture, benefits, and coworkers
Benefits Coordinator (Former Employee) –  San Antonio, TX11 September 2018
Enjoyed working at KCI/Acelity. The only reason I left was to pursue other opportunities. The benefits are great and I loved my coworkers and managers. Too much manual input of data for a technologically advanced corporation. Lack of performance metrics to provide salary increases. Job security is unstable. Traded hands a few times so the culture has shifted. Otherwise, lots of fun and perks available while I was there. If you have medical ingenuity, this is a great place.
Pros
Great benefits and culture. Lots of perks and cafeteria on site. Free gym.
Cons
Salaries are low even for San Antonio, TX standards

It has changed since I left so this isn't valid. They have outsourced a majority of their IT department to Cognizant therefore I can't give you any information.

Uninspiring culture with horrible management
Senior Analyst, Consultant (Former Employee) –  San Antonio, TX23 July 2018
The culture is extremely 'corporate' where individual employee input/contribution is not valued. The goal of the department for which I worked (Financial Operations) was to simply perpetuate a bureaucracy and made no meaningful contribution to the company (other departments managed the company's FP&A and Accounting roles). In addition, Management seemed only interested in taking credit for all of the work and keeping the staff down.
Pros
none
Cons
miserable work environmen

Horrible experience
Supervisor (Former Employee) –  San Antonio, TX12 June 2018
The company culture was horrible. Not only did the business lack an accurate measure of work performed by staff, it also openly acknowledged the need to reform the rating process but made excuses instead of changes. Upper management lacked integrity to the degree of deleting files and information of others to cover poor choices due to ignorance or pride. This company does not have a sustainable business model and the management in place currently, has only the interest of themselves in mind.
Pros
Decent pay for management
Cons
No support or training. No communication. No integrity. Failing technology department.

Company with focused products that embraces cutting edge technology but fails to retain talent and invest in employee training
IT Business Intelligence Consultant (Current Employee) –  San Antonio, TX21 May 2018
The company's drive to excel in the areas it specializes gives it an edge over its competitors. The company is taking active measures to embrace cutting edge technology and deploy software solutions that vertically integrate and is customer oriented. At this company, the IT infrastructure & its operations are built around the business, and cross functional teams such as Devops, Business Intelligence and Finance work together cohesively to problem solve for solutions.
One of the setbacks is its lack of drive to invest in expanding operations, training employees & retaining talent.
Pros
Receptive to change
Cons
Slow growth

Healthcare Specialist (Former Employee) –  San Antonio, TX20 May 2018
HORRIBLE management. Poor communication, but wanna work you for little pay. Worked me for 10 months, and when it was time to hire me full time, they found every excuse not to hire me, but kept me for 10 months. If I was such a bad employee, you wouldn't keep me that long.
Pros
Free lunch, free ice cream
Cons

Merger downgraded the company morale
REGIONAL DISPATCHER (Former Employee) –  San Antonio, TX2 April 2018
KCI was a great company to work for until the merger with Acelity. After the merger, the company forgot about its people and the real reason for their business. Customer service and employee work/life balance was no longer important. Acelity became a place where patients were replaced with a dollar sign and the employees were nothing more than expendable people sitting in the seats throughout each department.

Software Support Engineer (Former Employee) –  San Antonio, TX20 February 2018
Acelity is in the process of outsourcing the entire IT department to an offshore company . I would not recommend working in an environment of this type.

IT Department had a very collaborative work environment
IT Business Analyst II (Current Employee) –  San Antonio, TX29 January 2018
Working for IT, one had to learn to work with not only the business but other areas in IT such as Delair, Oracle, KCI Express, Service Max. You have to be flexible and make sure that the changes you make for one area do not impact another. It requires positive testing and negative testing.
Pros
Fantastic group of people. We all came together to get the job done
Cons
Some projects took up a lot of your time--Work/life balance was often askew
