Great place to work and learn. Good opportunities to grow and get certifications. Management can be problematic depending on the project you are allocated.

Productive and Career Growth.

Career wise, this would be the best company to grow as they have a lot to offer like training and modules for self-study. Salary is also good and the work culture are great. Cant say anymore, just the best.

Pros

career growth, great workplace, awesome culture, productivity and good salary

Cons

none

Awesome people just really unpredictable

A lot of options but its an acquired taste. Leadership is supportive and HR is not to bad. A lot of different projects but there isn't really a system in place to help with finding projects easier. Even if you reach out to people you may know it's really hard. When you are on the bench. There is another issue when you might get locked into a role you don't really enjoy but since you already invested so much time it's hard for you to say now. The downtown area is more for Consulting but other locations are more for technology so it really depends.

good place to work

It's a very good place to work which gave me exposure to many clients and helped me grow my skills. The work culture is also good and people support you in your day to day life activities. Most enjoyable part of the job was the bonding with my team. They helped in my ups and downs not only in work life but also in personal life. The hardest part of quitting Accenture would be leaving my team. However i had to take this decision to earn a better salary as the annual salary hikes are low.

Employee skills is sometimes not a priority

Accenture in the Philippines doesnt take note of the skills of their new recruits and puts them almost anywhere. My job is only 10% related to what I can do, and being at bench was a complete waste of time (there wasn't any guided programs for character or knowledge development, we just go to the office and do nothing). Everything is by the book.

Good Pay - Bad Experience

The project I got doesn't allow much growth professionally. The pay was competitive for my age and my career level at the time but globally it is very low.

it had its downfalls

9-7/8 pm late night meetings with offshore worked on weekends never got compensated the culture is nice not a lot of African Canadians/Americans which was a shame since i am of that background the hardest thing about the job is that i was a level 12 working as a level 10/9 to the point new coworkers thought i was the manager and would ask me for a sick day or mention they'd miss a meeting and i would clarify its not my place to grant permission ect. the work place is nice and so are the people but the lack of diversity gets to you. at one point i was asked something about a traditional clothing and i had to clarify africa is a continent which means i cannot speak for all the countries. i got fired due to supply and demand and was reassured it wasnt' my performance. it was a blind side

A great place for starting in the industry.

A great place for starting in the industry but lacks of work life balance and a lot of changes in people management that causes multiple resignation.

Accenture has a great work culture.

I worked on projects like RSA Ireland and Hilton. Both projects have provided me with great learning experience. Projects involved lot of team work which in turn provides the right platform to enhance your skills.

Accenture development

During my time at Accenture I worked on vb.net projects, c# and abap projects. This was my first job in the field and was part of my major learning curve in the development field.

Career Advancement

I joined Accenture right off college. This company is really known for providing its employees with good training and I have to agree. We were schooled and deployed to projects that really tested my skills. Accenture offers wide-array of extra curricular activities that will keep employees engaged.

Big Company lots of learning

Accenture had a sophisticated learning management system where all employees had access to organised information on relevant subjects to their job. Challenges included navigating a pyramid structure management structure which at times induced inefficiencies in the decision making

Accenture is a great place to work for a young professional.

Pros: They offer great benefits and career advancements. You will need to travel quite a bit and will need to network with counselors quite frequently for feedback and salary raises. Cons: The project management really depends on your clients. It can range from great to pretty bad.You WILL need to network within the company. Not suitable for shy individuals. If you don't like travelling, you will find it hard to cope.
