Low pay, long hours, no overtime, toxic and competitive work environment

Long hours, people who care about themselves, terrible laddering process, get staffed on projects not aligned to your skills, terrible and in resourceful people leads who are supposed to represent you during laddering calls but don’t give care about you

Good company

Matrix organization. Blessed to have HR contacts that helped me with cross border movements in multiple countries. Ensure you have consulting experience.

Fun place and lots of learning

Fun place to work at and lots of learning. Work life balance is good but it depends on the projects as well. Overall, career growth is kind of slow but my experience was good.

Good company

Accenture is a global consulting firm that is known for its extensive training and development programs for employees. However, it's worth noting that you may be assigned to projects that are not aligned with your interests or goals, and you may need to be flexible in your work assignments.

Good Work Life Balance Terrible peer group

Fun place to work but really bad place to start your career. Too many bureaucratic hurdles to get your voice heard and ends up sapping the enthusiasm out of you. Peer group was very fun loving but aimless in terms of future career goals.

Excellent culture, very supportive and approachable leadership, very helpful and collaborative peers

The work culture is excellent at Accenture. The leadership group are real role models, very approachable and supportive. The work life balance is well balanced, which helps spending time with family & friends or explore anything new or build new skills. There are lot of opportunities for growth, and right skilled are well compensated.

Working as a contractor

I think it is a wonderful place to work. From the start of my hiring process to actual job implementation, I felt respected and valued for my time. My salary reflects that. There is space in this company to grow, and be valued for your unique perspective.

High pressure metric based work environment. Ample room for growth if you put in the extra effort and report to a supportive Manager

Company offers a good compensation benefits package. Worked with a lot of good people that turned into lasting friendships. Very structured organization that rewards its people fairly.

Toxic Team and Management

Poor due diligence and hiring practises . Very competitive team environment with little to no collaboration. The management does not care about entry-level staff. In 2020, without any thought to their years of contribution or circumstances, 25,000 people globally (at all levels) were laid-off by US Management, who did not know anything or care about Canadian staff. Whistleblower mentality, which is followed-up with investigations and interrogation by on-staff lawyers.

WFH 2 days

Complicated organisation

Lost in the “Lala land” diverse organisationsNo focus strategy, 90% of meeting and announcement not relevant. Managing directors don’t communicate properly. Skills algorithms are a joke. Most confusing environment, the only thing worth is training, however it does not provide any opportunities for project involvement. Too many overlapping acquisitions, which leads to silo , private club organisations.

Confusing organisations, non relevant meetings and miss communications. Way too many chiefs and no Indians
