A mind-numbing soul sucking, evil greedmonster

Miserable company to work for. You are micromanaged to the point of insanity. Overworked to the point of exhaustion, and stressed to the point of flipping out all while being criminally underpaid.

Unrelentingly Awful

The field services division of the company is treated like mindless peons. You're expected to be available 24 hours a day to fix even the most mundane of issues. Your well being, rights, and employment conditions are only whats guaranteed by law and only if you forcefully remind management of said laws will they be that good.

Thoroughly unenjoyable excepting the customers. They're what keeps you going.

You'll gain experience
Cons
No work/life balance, low wage, no prep time for calls, No time for training, unable to use vacation days due to staffing issues, I could go on for weeks here.

Terrible company
Field Service Technician (Former Employee) –  Moncton, NB22 July 2015
This is a terrible company to work for.

I lasted about six months dealing with all their BS and had finally had enough and quit.

Worst management I have ever had the displeasure of working for.

Avoid this place at all costs.

The other techs I worked with were pretty cool. But you knew none of them were happy.

They pay poorly as well, and don't pay overtime, or will stiff you on it. I had to take them to the labor board to get the money that was owed to me when I quit.

Not the place for me.

I enjoyed my time at ABM for the first 2 months or so until they put me in a job position that I wasn't hired or trained for.

Overall it was not very enjoyable for me.
However, my co-workers were nice and friendly.

In my opinion management at the company was not very good.

I provide hardware, software and networking support for ATMs with most major financial institutions. We also, provide support for most retail businesses across Atlantic Canada.
