Depends what your job is i guess. Being a concrete pump operator can be a long hard day - customer needs come first. The good operators make it look easy, but it can take years of experience to get there. Good support for operators by management, also, good crew of guys to work with. Mechanic shop is the best in the business, staffed with knowledgeable techs - ready to help out when things go south, as they often do in this business. Office staff is helpful and management is eager to come down and swing a hammer to save pipe as necessary (as long As it doesn’t happen too frequently). All in all, a good place to work as long as you pull your weight and show up on time. I kind of regret leaving, but I had my reasons - not related to workplace culture or co-workers. Itcan be hard being in this business. Just accept the fact this business is no cakewalk and comes with its inherent difficulties, it is still one of the best to work for in this line of work.

Extremely toxic environment

Cancerous culture Amongst staff, management treats operators very poorly, constantly belittling employees, high turn over rate, gossiping, lies. No end to the problems. Worked here 7 years and regret everything.

Good place to work. Highly recommend. Management is great, good work life balance. Amazing work culture , great pay , easy interview. Benefits are great also. Huge room for advancement

Unorganized and ownership only cares about dividends

This place only cares about ownerships profits. They treat every employee like they are dispensable. The management doesn’t communicate at all. Would not suggest working here.

Worst place I ever worked. Equipment is junk, shop manager is a jerk, office staff takes forever to do things, they favour workers and starve others, some people training me would swear at me and no raises.

Constantly expected to go above and beyond your job scope with little to no effort given in the return. Management expects the world from you but cant be bothered to assist you with anything. If your on salary you have unlimited holidays, if your hourly you have to beg or quit to get a raise. Effort is not rewarded

My time at A&B concrete pumping was something I will never forget. Awesome management and co-worker support. Very detailed and patient training process which remains ongoing even after you take the controls. Lots of overtime! 2 thumbs up for A&B

productive and quiet

My job at A&B was cleaning. I would only be there for a couple hours a day every couple weeks. I would clean out the locker room which included a small kitchen area, a bathroom, tables and lockers. also cleaned the workout area and some of the offices and a few other bathrooms. I cleaned by myself and didn't work with anyone else.
