Worse place to work
They always make it seem so easy during training, saying “having good conversation with customers is their priority” until you actually get to the production ground. They put you under various kind of pressure to make sales. They have you cold calling customers who already left due to poor customer service or a terrible experience and finally they lay you off for stupid reason. I always smashed it when we get feedbacks on hitting core points when doing your findings with customers but this is a stupid company, just benefits are great.

Fair** starting rate, decent benefits. The job itself isn't the issue. Comes down to how much you can handle.
Typical day is making calls, looking for sales and processing said sales. Bonus structure wasn't the worst I'd seen, nor close to best. It was a convoluted setup, purposefully, I believe. It looked like you were getting screwed on your bonus/commission. I didn't learn much; there were certain things specific to the job that you pick up, sure. I understand fully why people don't like taking calls from businesses. 90% of businesses teach you how you should want to be greedy, and "push, push, push" for sales as opposed to actually caring about people. If you serve your customers to the best of your ability and actually care about them, that's how you make people want to stay with you. That's what will make people tell their friends and family about you. Most cultures are wrong from the top to bottom. It's not the jobs good people have issues with, it's usually ignorant higher ups. Here, the training teams were great. Really seemed to care about the people they were training. The hardest part of the job: dealing with potential customers who the company had ticked off. The most enjoyable part: being transparent with those people and telling them you wanted to do better and hooking them up with something better than they had.

Poor leaders can ruin a company
The training is amazing and you get to meet people from all over. Fun learning environment. When it comes to Nesting (what they call training with hand holding) the management is not its best. The support staff is wonderful and very helpful but the main leadership doesn’t seem to care about anything but $. Support staff seems to be more available than team leads to help and assist with sales or questions. Once you graduate Nesting, you go to Production and leadership here is great. Management will encourage you to try your best rather than stress you to make sales like in nesting. Very supportive coworkers and once you get in the groove of things commission roles in nicely. Down side to all this is being watched all the time. We have to keep our Zoom camera on at all times. Personally don’t mind Screen recording to ensure nobody is misusing the computer or client information but being watched on zoom all day is over the top. Being able to turn camera off should be an option if not in meeting.

Productive and fun workplace
7x provides team members with the flexibility to work from home. The onboarding and new hire training are the best I have ever experienced in any company that I worked for. I enjoy the fun environment that my leader and the team members create every day. As I am a high performer, I feel that my job is secure and rewarded for what I do.

They could be worse
This company is not different from other contact centers, and could actually be worse. This is because what you do is cold call strangers and even if they want to hang up on you, you still go on and drop your spiel.Pros: Employees get health, medical, and dental coverage from day. Though you might not last that long to actually be able to use them.
