The Customer Supply Chain Manager’s principle responsibility is to provide leadership, direction and develop functional expertise with their direct reports. They will be required to lead a high performance team by engaging Associate’s through individual development plans, business objectives and personal well being.

To be effective in this role, you will require a strong understanding of the extended supply chain and how to leverage this knowledge to maximize shelf availability. Key performance metrics will include case service levels, day’s sales outstanding and on-time delivery, etc.

This role is expected to drive Customer Engagement through insights obtained from the Advantage Survey. Develop the necessary strategies and relationships to mutually seek out growth opportunities. This will be achieved through collaborative efforts with both internal stakeholders and your assigned customers.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Management and/or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in additional or related roles
  • Line Manager Experience
  • Customer Facing Experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high performing teams
  • Direct experience building strategic partnerships with Customers
  • Excellent influencing, negotiating, and closing skills to cement win-win business solutions and partnerships (internal/ external)
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a high degree of self-awareness
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Technical knowledge of SAP, Business Warehouse, and Microsoft Applications

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Define and implement Customer Service Strategies
  • Member of the Supply Chain Leadership Team
  • Utilize insights from Advantage Survey to drive Customer Engagement improvements.
  • Adopt communication forums to foster strategic partnerships with Customers and align on key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with direct reports, and internal stakeholders to support customer objectives while aligning to our Supply Chain OGSM.
  • To work with direct reports in identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Areas of focus should include the investigation, design, & delivery of sustainable in-stock, speed to market, and cost to serve process improvements. (Perfect/Minimal Touch order, On-Time Delivery, Cycle Lead Time, Cost to Serve, Days to Clear, Deduction Balance, etc.)
  • Through insight on internal and industry practices, anticipate and plan for future business needs. Build business cases as required for customer focused supply side initiatives.
