Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, with a platform spanning venue development and end-to-end capabilities across venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Founded in 2015, the company serves a collection of seven world-class owned venues and a client roster of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions, spanning four continents.

Position Summary:
The Concessions Worker prepares and serves concession items to guests. Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation. Utilizes a cash register and accepts payment. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

This is a seasonal role from April 1, 2025 and will end on September 7, 2026.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $18.25-$19.85 CAD and is tip eligible

This position will remain open until July 31 2026.
About the Venue:
Rogers Field at Nat Bailey Stadium is the 75-year-old, proud home of the Vancouver Canadians. Oak View Group serves the stadium as its main food & beverage partner during a brief but intense season of 66 games in 11 weeks, running from April to September. The venue is family-friendly and offers a positive environment where to grow your skills while creating memorable moments for the fans.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct the cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing the transaction.
  • Ability to build orders, prepare food, and knowledge in all areas of concessions operations.
  • Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating to the Concessions Stand Manger of low stock items.
  • Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.
  • Serve beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages responsibly. Must check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages.
  • Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
  • Restock items, including trays, bottles, cans.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance, and maintain clean and well kept uniform
  • Proactively respond to team needs and assigned tasks
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must possess a smart serve/safe serve
  • Six months’ experience in food service industry preferred
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn to handle cash and learn to operate a cash register and corresponding POS system
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests
