Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and manage quantitative financial and market data to support internal analysis and external reporting
- Research, track, and analyze capital markets trends, industry developments, business performance metrics, and peer and competitor activity
- Support the development and production of investor relations materials, including presentations, scripts, financial and related disclosures
- Track, interpret, and summarize estimates and consensus information provided by sell‑side analysts
- Collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams (including Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders) to support the preparation of accurate and timely disclosures
- Prepare ad‑hoc analyses and briefing materials for internal partners, including competitive intelligence, investor relations activity assessments, and industry issue reviews
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, quality, and consistency of investor relations processes, tools, and reporting
- Maintain the highest levels of discretion and strict confidentiality
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in an analytical role within capital markets, investor relations, equity research, or financial data / information services, ideally supporting TSX-listed public companies
- Postsecondary degree or equivalent in business, finance, or a related field
- Demonstrated interest in public companies, financial markets, and capital markets dynamics
- Proficiency with capital markets data and analytics platforms, including hands‑on experience extracting, analyzing, and interpreting financial, market, and consensus data
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience preparing, reviewing, or supporting financial disclosures and investor‑facing materials
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and a structured approach to execution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, concise messaging
