Job Summary:

You are a safety-conscious Class 1 Heavy Haul with previous driving experience. You will be working with our valued customers on various projects throughout Canada & USA. You are a team player who ensures the well-being of others and lends a hand where needed.

Join the Rangeland Truck & Crane team on various projects throughout Canada and the USA!

Essential Responsibilities:

Operate tractors and utilize various trailers safely and efficiently.

Perform regular maintenance on truck and trailers and maintain good housekeeping.

Manage daily logs (electronic logging devices)

Assemble and operate multi-axle trailer combinations.

Conduct detailed and thorough pre-trip/post trip inspections.

Load and secure cargo per detailed instructions

Fit tire chains as required.

Travel according to specific routes and schedules, in compliance with all regulations and permit conditions.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as Truck Driver

Must possess a valid class 1 driver's license and provide a clean driver’s abstract.

Previous experience hauling equipment.

Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

Must successfully complete fitness for duty requirements and submit to FMCSA drug testing.

Ability to incorporate health and safety concepts into work activities.

Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision.

Have good communication skills and an ability to work as a team.

A valid passport and the ability to cross the USA/Canada international border

Valid certifications are an asset (H2S Alive, First Aid, etc.)

For owner/operators, our preference is for vehicles that are less than 5 years old with a full maintenance history and up-to-date servicing schedule that includes full details of maintenance reports.

Work Conditions:

Candidates must be flexible to work on projects throughout North America.

Candidates must be flexible regarding their shift schedule.

Preference will be given to those applicants that have experience with platform trailers, multiple axle combinations and winching operations. Consideration given to super B and mountain driving experience.
