Buhler Industries Inc., a leading and growing manufacturer of farm equipment, is currently accepting applications for a qualified Technical Writer .
As a Technical Writer you will be responsible for writing and maintaining technical publications for Versatile tractors. This individual will write, edit, proofread, index and format service manuals, user guides and other documents to produce high quality documentation with a focus on the end user. Additionally, you will fulfill documentation requests from clients and colleagues, and produce visual aids of products for company and customer records and marketing purposes.
The successful candidate will have a post secondary education in a related field and a minimum of three years of related work experience. Must also have experience/working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Reader, IsoDraw and other related programs. Exceptional verbal and written skills in combination with great attention to detail are required. The chosen candidate must also have a good understanding of vehicle mechanics in order to perform in this role. Preference will be given to those with an agricultural equipment background.
