Job Description: Inventor and AutoCAD Designer: Harvey 1329
Inventor and AutoCAD expert required immediately, with a minimum of 5 years professional working experience. AutoCAD experience must include modeled solids and P-Space dimensions and profiles. Inventor experience must include accurate lofts and vaulted assemblies over 2,000 parts.
This position is detail oriented and requires practical experience in the tracking and production of several hundred drawings, and their revision levels.
Disciplines include: Composite lay-ups and infusion of: fabrication and machining drawings of steel and aluminum assemblies; hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel and electrical schematics. Candidate should be familiar with welding and machining symbols, and have a portfolio that demonstrates all of their design abilities, to conform to a given drawing standard.
Additional assets, though not required, include:
Design experience in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or motion modeling.
Programming experience with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) object models within Access or Inventor. Network experience with MS DC, Access front/back ends, and AD server objects.
This is a 3 to 6 month contract with possibilities for fulltime.
Salary is open depending on experience.
