Regional Accounts Manager - Montreal - 60 to 65K Here they grow again....due to growth our client is adding to their sales force - a leading transportation/courier company is seeking a Regional Accounts Manager. You must be able to work effectively within a team-oriented environment and but also the ability to work independently to source, develop and close new business.
You will maintain and expand existing accounts, and develop new accounts through cold calling and client visits Key Responsibilities Manages the regions which have been assigned to generate maximum revenue and meet company objectives Meet or exceed established sales goals by effective territory management Increase market share by calling on all levels of customers, promoting services, conducting sales presentations to both group and individuals. Develop and implement a Account Intelligence System that records account information, competitive information and sales activities Develop and implement a Sales Work Plan, that ensures minimum attainment of all required sales functions Establish techniques to increase service improvements and competitive strategies to target markets Promoting and fostering positive business relationships as a advocate for the company Make organized, professional group and individual presentations demonstrating service knowledge focusing on the customers needs and requirements Maintain current knowledge of related goals, objectives, procedures and sales and marketing techniques Job Requirements: Our client is looking for someone who has a minimum of 3 to 5 years transportation and or courier and or freight forwarding/logistic sales experience A successful track record developing and closing business. Ideally have good contacts in the marketplace. Demonstrated competency in the following: Demonstrates professional skills for verbal and written communication Excellent follow-up skills with both customers, internal staff and management Ability to present to large groups and individuals including customers; colleagues and management Demonstrates confidence, enthusiasm and a desire to excel Persistency and ability to negotiate with professional skills and expertise Excellent time management, organizational and planning skills Successful track record of exceeding sales goals and managing accounts Computer literacy in spreadsheet and word-processing application
