Our client, a fast growing company leader in its industry is looking for a E-commerce Webmaster to join his team.
Responsibilities:
- Implement new features on the corporate e-commerce web site using PHP
- Drive website development in stride with e-commerce strategy ensuring that industry best practices are met
- Perform web functionality maintenance and update out-of-date information; perform quality checks to eliminate broken links and 404 errors
- Manage Shopping Engine feeds
- Manage and update merchandizing
- Lead CRM strategy to expand and maximize usage of customer database relative to contribute to sales
- Recommend, contribute and execute innovative initiatives to drive online traffic and influence visitors to become interactive on the web site
- Proactively research, recommend and apply new web technologies as they emerge
Marketing Support:
Assist Marketing and e-commerce Manager in implementing strategic and tactical marketing initiatives:
- Optimize and manage landing pages for SEO, SEM and SMM initiatives
- Create and execute weekly newsletter and promotional email blasts
- Manage Google Analytic as well as campaign metrics reporting at the most granular level
- Perform campaign post-mortem and provide recommendations on improving results
- Manage corporate blogs and SMM profile
- Perform additional duties and manage projects as assigned by both the Marketing & eCommerce Manager and General Manager
Prérequis/Requirements :
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge for designing, developing and maintaining "accessible" web sites
- Strong knowledge of PHP
- Knowledge of Linux-Based systems and server environments
- Experience with the Magento e-commerce Platform (asset)
- Experience with MySQL (asset)
- Ideally bilingual (English a must, French an asset)
